Seal, Heidi Klum and the specter of doomed marriages...

Recently, I viewed Seal performing his song 'Whirlpool' on YouTube.

Now, between Seal's melancholic delivery of the song's lyrics and the lovely rhythms of the acoustic guitar on this track, this song is nothing short of mesmerizing. 

Then I realized, I've always been interested in Seal's backstory, but I've never run across any articles that dealt with it in a really in depth way. 

Beyond all the hype about his breakup with Heidi Klum, I wanted to know more about him...and I wanted to know why his marriage failed. So I endeavored to find out. 

And here's what I found...   

Seal Henry Olusegun Olumide Adeola Samuel was born in Nigeria on February 19th, 1963. One of Seal's names, Olusegun means 'God is victorious' in the Yoruba language.

His parents, a Nigerian mother and Brazilian father, Adebisi and Francis Samuel, expatriated to London, England shortly after he was born. 

They gave Seal up for adoption when he was months old and Seal grew up in a foster home in Westminster, a bustling London city. 

*Side Note: The distinctive scars on Seal's face come from the auto-immune disease Lupus, and the strain Seal is afflicted with is known for affecting the skin above the neck. 

At the age of four, Seal's mother re-claimed him for two years, but took ill and had to return to Nigeria. Seal then went to live with his father; and for the next several years, Seal endured his wrath. While talking to a journalist, Seal once described his father as: "...an embittered man of lost opportunity." Seal also said of his father: "...unfortunately for him, he was brought up by a strict disciplinarian, in a different culture..."

This lead to Seal leaving home at the age of 15.  

He recounts the years after leaving home as ones where he slept on subways and did anything he could to survive.

He told a reporter of a certain subway line he favored; saying that after the subway's workers cleaned the tracks and platform, he'd seek refuge in a certain alcove besides the tracks where it was warm.  

Seal temporarily dropped out of high school, but re-entered a short time later and went on to earn an associates degree in architecture. 

After his school career, Seal worked a succession of odd jobs, which included: a stint at McDonalds, posting flyers for call girls in London's red box telephone booths, working as an electrical engineer and designing leather clothes. 

While doing this, he began singing regularly in bars and clubs; this led to him securing a lead singers position in a funk band called 'Push'. Eventually, he toured japan with this group in the mid-80's.   

While in asia, Seal joined a blues band in Thailand. Shortly thereafter, he traversed through india on his own. 

In 1990, Seal contributed lyrics and vocals to the song 'Killer', produced by a musically collaborative friend of his, 'Adamski'.  

After securing a production deal, Seal began putting together tracks for what would become his debut album 'Seal'. 

In 1991, Seal released his first single 'Crazy' from his album, and the song was an instant hit. Beyond the hypnotic musical swells and pulse of the track, I think what intrigued people most was the song's chorus: "But we're never gonna' survive unless, we are a little crazy."

It not only spoke to what Seal had been through personally, but it captured the socio-political zeitgeist, in that, every global citizen was seeing the sham of world governments and their institutions. 

It also spoke to the fact that no one's coming to save us but ourselves.

The single 'Crazy' was followed up by the songs 'Future Love Paradise', 'The Beginning' and 'Violet'. Seal's debut album went on to sell a million copies in the UK, and 3.5 million worldwide. 

But adjusting to his new found success was hard for Seal; during this time, Seal was involved in a nearly life-threatening car crash, he had a double pneumonia, and in another bout of bad luck, a person was shot right next to him while he walked on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, California. 

He came away from all these incidents unscathed enough to record his next and most successful album, the eponymously titled 'Seal'.  

This album included hits like, 'Prayer For The dying', 'Don't Cry', 'Newborn Friend' and the inimitable 'Kiss From A Rose'. 

The song 'Kiss From A Rose' would prove to be the greatest selling single of his career; and the fact that it was featured on the movie soundtrack 'Batman Forever' helped promote the album. The song also won Seal three grammys in 1996. And quite frankly, Seal's song was ten times better than the Batman movie it was promoting.

The grammy awards Seal won were in the categories of 'Best Male Pop Vocal', 'Best Song Of The Year' and 'Best Record Of The Year'. 'Kiss From A Rose' remained at the number 1 position on the U.S. Billboard charts for 12 weeks. 

But even these accolades couldn't quell the disquietude that stirred in Seal's soul. 

All those years of abuses suffered at the hands of his father and his early years of abandonment came to a head in his next album 'Human Being'.  

Seal released this album in 1998 after dealing with problems with his record label and his producer Trevor Horn. The first single 'Human Beings' was inspired by the death of Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls, as well as Seal's thoughts on death, self-esteem and fame.

But what really inspired this LP was displayed on its cover...and that was Seal's consummate self-loathing. 

I suspect this is how Seal's father made him feel all those years he lived under his rule. Seal's pose almost makes him look like he's cringing while waiting for another one of his father's blows. 

It speaks to a body dysmorphia that probably had Seal feeling almost other-wordly and alien-like, even in the midst of fame. It also looks like he's suffering from an almost 'Kafka-esque' mind-state at the thought of his facial and physical features. 

And this internal strife would cause him to make poor choices in relationships. 

Enter Heidi Klum...  

Now, for those who don't know, Heidi Klum is a german-american model who's been half naked on the cover of Sports Illustrated's swimsuit issues; and she's credited for being a fashion designer, actress and television producer. 

Since germans are known for their loose morals, it figures that Heidi wouldn't be an exception. But let's delve deeper into how she and Seal first met. 

Seal and Heidi's first meeting was in 2003 at the 'GQ' awards in London; but weeks later, they stayed in the same hotel. And Heidi stated that she saw Seal in 'biker shorts' after he'd just come from a gym. 

She said she was immediately impressed with his 'package' and promptly introduced herself. Mind you, Heidi was pregnant with her ex's child at the time. 

This tells you everything you need to know about Heidi. 

Now, even though Heidi exposed herself as a super skank, what happened next is what really sealed their fate...no pun intended.  

As Seal told a journalist, about a month into their courtship, Heidi told him she was pregnant with her ex's child. 

Actually, Seal put it like this; after Heidi told him she was expecting a baby, Seal laughed and said, "Already? That's amazing."

This implied they had sex several times before. 

Heidi replied, "Not with you stupid."

Seal said there was an awkward silence after that; then he replied, "It doesn't change the way I feel about you, 'cause the fact that you're here tells me you think a lot about me."

This is the moment Seal went from being a singing superstar to an outright simp. And unbeknownst to him, it was gonna' be all downhill from there.

Now, a lot of people are under the impression that Heidi settled for Seal, when actually, it was Seal who settled. 

The moment this tramp told him she was pregnant, Seal should have replied with some sort of pleasantry and slowly phased this skank out of his life. Seal could've had any woman he wanted, instead, because of his feelings of self-loathing, he wound up being another simp tethered to another skank.

This was also when they got visited by what I call, the 'specter of doomed marriages'. 

You see, the reason simps and skanks get along so well is they're both from unstable and abusive households; and it's damn near impossible for them to get out of that frame of mind.

Unfortunately, neither one of them realize this and they're doomed to be in bad relationships for the rest of their lives. 

That is, unless they can diagnose the problem in their subconscious and work to recondition themselves out of it. 

And most people don't even recognize the problem at that level. 

So the question simps, skanks and everyone else has to ask themselves before entering a relationship is: do I know who I'm attracting and who I'm attracted to? 

And it's a fact that if you come from an unstable and abusive household, you're gonna' be attracting and attracted to, people from unstable and abusive households. 

AND THERE'S NO EXCEPTION TO THIS RULE. 

NONE.

Problem is, most people never get to the point of asking  themselves this question. 

So, in all of this, I hope Seal learned a lesson from his mistake. 

Unfortunately, he'll be tied to this tramp for the rest of his life. 

Heidi actually started an affair with her bodyguard before she and Seal officially split. 

But I think Seal is smart enough to have learned one maxim I overheard from a wise man. And that is...

When you lose, don't lose the lesson. 

And after a painful loss like this, I think Seal definitely learned his. 

At least I hope he has.

Why Black people are "not" their own worst enemies...

About a year ago, I started a Blog on "Wordpress".

I did this because I'd heard this was THE best website for bloggers; so, I set up shop and shortly thereafter, I had some questions to ask their moderators. 

One of the questions I posed was: did the site ever consider adding a 'who's viewed me' app.?

The response I got back from a white woman was, I don't want that information displayed on my blog, the list would be a mile long. Mind you, her entire response came off as crass and belligerent.

So I responded back by saying, I understand you've had a blog here for some time, but this app would help 'newcomers' to network more effectively...so try to be a bit more understanding. 

She replied saying, I'm not offended but I don't understand how you could say something like that to me, when I help people on this site everyday.

I was thinking, who the hell does this crab think she is? 

Next, I asked their moderators if there was a way that I could get my Blog post's videos to play at a regular speed, 'cause on their site, my vids tended to stutter. 

This crab of a white woman came at me sideways again, saying that she doesn't have that problem because she's got a high-speed internet connection. Again, her entire response had this cantankerous tone.

Then I realized, I was just dealing with an inbred bigot b#tch. 

After a couple of these episodes, I asked ms. thing: if you're just gonna' be difficult, why don't you just avoid my questions...what's wrong with you?

She then reported me to her superiors saying that I was harassing her. 

So, I resolved to write a Blog post about it titled: "Wordpress, volunteer moderators and the cult of neo-liberal white bigotry."

Again, ms. thing reported this to her superiors, and this eventually led to my question asking capabilities being suspended.  

On this same question-asking forum, there was a young white guy who was perturbed about one of his questions that went unanswered. 

He proceeded to curse everyone of the moderators out and call them everything but a child of god; every other word in his rant was "f-this" and "f-that". 

So you know how ms. thing and her fellow moderators responded? They offered him links to every one of his inquiries, and none of them said anything about his profane tirade against them.

A couple of days ago, I was casually channel surfing and came upon the game show "Family Feud", hosted by Steve Harvey. 

One of the questions Steve was tasked to ask the panelists was: why would "tarzan" where a Black loin cloth?

One white woman responded, "To fit in?"

To which Steve laughed and said, "Why, 'cause you think there's a lot of Black people in the jungle?" Both Steve and the lady chuckled, but they both knew this question was beyond derogatory. 

Steve went to another white female in this family and posed the same question. 

She replied, "Because there might be a death nearby...you know how you have to wear Black to a funeral..."

I shook my head and turned. 

*Side Note: There are NO jungles in Africa. What they...white geographers and such, are calling "jungles" in Africa are actually "rainforests". The difference is, jungles are comprised of inter-twined vegetation (trees, roots, vines, etc.) that are impenentrable. Rainforests are areas of dense vegetation where sunlight can reach the forest's floor and they're areas that people can traverse through. The jungles of the world are primarily in south america (i.e. Bolivia, Honduras, etc.), asia and australia. 

Now, I've highlighted the above two examples because I want to make it very plain as to why I rail against both covert white bigots and overt white supremacists on this Blog. 

Recently, I've been criticized for being too hard on whitey. I've been told I come off like a 'bitter old man' in terms of my animosity towards our pale-skinned brethren. 

The person critiquing me is also a blogger. 

And he's made commentaries on my blog's stylings on his own website and blog. But on his website's post, he used a sickening mantra to legitimize why I shouldn't talk so disparagingly about whites; and that mantra is...Black people are their own worst enemies. 

Now, let me tell you how and why this saying is part of a white supremacist's trick bag that's always used on Black people. 

Any Black person who goes around thinking they, or their people are their own worst enemies, is doing two things:

1.) They're reinforcing their school and media-induced hatred of themselves and other Black people, because this saying offers nothing in the way of solutions for getting out of that self-hatred.

and 

2.) They're encouraging themselves to see the white elite as blameless for everything that happens to any Black person or groups of Black people. 

Now, is every one of Black people's problems a white person's fault? Of course not; but in instances like the white elite blowing up those levees during Hurricane Katrina so Black people could be killed and displaced, or the killing of Sean Bell in NYC in a hail of fifty bullets when he was coming out of a club...in those instances, white supremacy, and it's institutions, are directly responsible.

This doesn't mean you should have a chip on your shoulder when it comes to whites...I'm just saying it behooves every Black person to know who they are and how they operate. 

I remember a time when I was speaking to a young brotha who was directly from Africa at my job. He was saying that it was ashamed Black people in Africa, and the diaspora, developed the AIDS virus 'cause we're so promiscuous. 

To which I replied, "You don't know what happened?"

I then said, "white scientists went into Africa and gave our people the AIDS virus disguised as a polio vaccine...that's how Africa got AIDS."

The brotha was shocked because no one ever told him this. I could see on his face, for the first time, he didn't see himself, or his people as these sub-human savages. 

Now, his not knowing this information, is the equivalent of being stuck in the paradigm of "Black people are their own worst enemies"...'cause how could you think these things and NOT hate yourself for being Black. 

This is also one of the reasons I rail against christianity, 'cause this is another tool in a white supremacist's trick bag that's constantly used on Black people. 

I remember working with a mature Black man at my job who was a "church-goer", and he confessed to me that for the majority of his life he was a "womanizer", and he was always saying something disparaging about the Black youth...especially young Black men. 

I recall one day he said to me, "The devil operates with impunity," because I guess this is a biblical proverb. Then he asked, "uh...what does impunity mean?"

I shook my head and walked off.  

This man used christianity as a crutch, because he had no talent, no skills and no kind of collegiate degrees; all he had was the church, 'cause you can find one of those on every corner in a Black neighborhood. And he had no idea that the reason he slandered young Black men so much is because in the church, the message he was getting time after time was, everything masculine is negative and everything feminine is positive (Tyler Perry).

Now, the person who criticized me is a Black christian. 

And I'm sure he and the majority of Black christians have never read the bible cover to cover. 'Cause if they had, they'd find this:

Ephesians 6:5:
Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ. 

^6:6:
Obey them not only to win their favor when their eye is on you, but as slaves of christ, doing the will of god from your heart.

^6:7-8:  
Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the lord, not people. Because you know the lord will reward each one for whatever good they do, whether they are slaves or free. 

Makes a little more sense now as to why the bible was the first book in this country that Blacks were allowed to read...don't it?

Slaves of christ?!

So basically, this tells us if there is a "christian" god, he didn't have a problem with Black people being slaves. Beyond this, do you know the first slave ship to wash up on american shores with Black people in it was called the "Good ship jesus"? Google it.

And I won't even go into the whole "curse of Ham" non-sense that christianity pushed on us. 

Christianity, and all of the other worldly religions, are designed to keep Black people away from our Black "spiritual sciences", like "The Orishas" and "Voudun" or Voodoo. 

These are the sciences our ancestors in Haiti used to get themselves free from the tyranny of Napoleon's armies. And IT WORKED! The Haitian slave revolt is credited with being the only successful slave revolt in world history. 

So I've said all that to say this...Black people are NOT their own worst enemies, covert white bigots, white supremacists and their institutions ARE!

Just like metaphysician Dr. Phil Valentine said: "The last place you're gonna' find out the truth about christianity, is IN christianity; you have to go outside of it to really know its agenda."

The same holds for the saying "Black people are our own worst enemies". Meaning, until you look outside of that saying, you'll never see who's responsible for getting you and your people to hate themselves. 

Black people in america go through an intensive conditioning process over the course of 18 years to be taught to hate themselves in schools. Damn near every book a Black person reads in school tells them they should hate being Black. And this doesn't include the sublime programming you're gonna' get from movies and TV. 

*Side Note: If you're a young Black person reading this, I still encourage you to get a High School Diploma and a collegiate degree, but understand what the game is while you acquire these certificates; because if you have both sets of knowledge, then you'll truly be powerful.

So if you wanna' know why exposing white supremacy is at the nucleus of what you'll see on this blog, review all the reasons I've just given.

Like I say on this Blog's other page titled: "More about me and this blog", I warn people emphatically, that this Blog is not for squeamish anglophiles.

So when it comes to pale-skinned inbreds, I gotta' tell it like it is, or I can't tell it. 

And if you can't handle that, there's a million other blogs on this site that will cater to your "ethnically-neutral" tastes.

Trayvon's father, the freemasons and white supremacist deflections...

On July 21, 2013, George Zimmerman was acquitted of slaying Trayvon Martin. 

Now, if you're Black, I think you can remember how disgusted you were with this verdict. 

And unless you've been living under a rock, you know who Trayvon Martin is; and if you didn't, the media coverage on this case was so ubiquitous that you couldn't get away from this story. 

But recently, there's been a new twist on this case; and it has to do with Trayvon's father, and his clandestine affiliations. 

Now, it's been leaked that Tracy Martin, Trayvon's father, is a high-ranking freemason. 32nd or 33rd degree at that; and for those who don't know, these are the highest rankings that white supremacist freemasons can achieve. 

So I've been doing a little digging on this factoid and have come up with the pictures in my header's triptych. But here's what's odd, all the information I got on Trayvon's father being with the freemasons seems to be coming from white people; especially when you talk about videos on this subject. 

What white people are now saying is, that since Trayvon's father is a high-ranking mason, he must have had Trayvon killed as a 'blood sacrifice'.

Now, for the uninitiated, a freemasonic 'blood sacrifice' is when you have one of your family members killed to get a higher ranking in the white supremacist freemasonic coterie. And supposedly, Tracy Martin was a member of the 'Boule', which is the Black equivalent of the infamous organization known as the 'Skull and Bones' (google these names if you haven't heard about them).

Now, with the pictures above, it looks like Tracy Martin was definitely down with the freemasons; but here's two things white people don't seem to get: 1.) That just because Trayvon's father is a freemason, doesn't mean he had Trayvon killed; and 2.) In a lot of instances, Black men have to join these fraternities just to get and keep their jobs. 

White people are now screaming 'reverse racism' because it's perceived that Trayvon was killed by a white man. 

Now, for those who don't know, zimmerman isn't white. He's spanish. He checked the 'hispanic' box on his voter registration card, and he refers to himself as a 'latino'. But for any Black person who's been around these people, you can attest to the fact that they're just as bigoted against Blacks as any klansman; possibly even more so. 

Now, the latest fad is saying that Black people are angry for nothing because it was another Black person who killed Trayvon. 

I remember watching one YouTube video, where this white dunce is talking about 'Jay-Z' being a freemason; not only that, he was intimating that Jay was the head of the whole organization. 

And he was citing examples of how Jay is a pedophile, and how he's the real menacing factor in these secret societies. 

Well, I don't know if Jay's a pedophile, but we sure know those down-low, low down white catholic priests are. But this dunce of an inbred didn't seem to address that. 

Whites are essentially saying that the world's greatest low-life, insidious and obsessively murderous bastards aren't them, but Black people.

This, they feel, gives them an excuse to kind of 'pass the buck' when it comes to what kind of inhuman scum-bags they've proven themselves to be. 

Let me tell you something, in terms of seedy, unsavory and downright treacherous behavior(s), NO ONE OUTDOES THE WHITE MAN!!

NO ONE. 

Wherever they go, they create havoc, destruction and genocidal holocausts; there's no place where they can say they've created peace and harmony...they only create misery.

And the fact that any one of them feel they have the moral high-ground on any issue is laughable. 

That and the fact that the majority of them are dumb as bricks, makes them even more unsavory. 

You're probably saying, how can you say they're dumb when they own everything; I can say that because I've not only seen their inability to show they have any kind of common sense, but I know the white people who ARE running things are the white ELITE; not the everyday white person you might encounter at a grocery store or gas station. And these white people are smart because they're practicing the sciences of our ancestors in these secret societies.

I know several Black men who've told me that in order to maintain their lifestyle, and again to keep their jobs, they had to accept being in these brotherhoods. And the added pressures to stay in these fraternities come in the form of mortgages, rearing children, car notes, etc. 

So, I've said all that to say this...when it comes to Tracy Martin, DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE; or do your own research and come to your own conclusion. But remember this, don't ever let any cracka let you think one of your own kind could ever be more insidious and dastardly then one of them. 

Tracy and his cadre were probably initiated into the masons by a white person; or a white freemasonic lackey. 

And you ever notice that when you as a Black person, get around a lot of them, they get an attitude? 

That's because Black people are the surest reminders of just how under-handed and disgustingly fiendish they really are; we constantly remind them of the slave trade in this country, and they can't stand to have that reflected back at them. 

They probably would get as mad at 'native-americans' upon seeing them, but they damn near wiped them out to the point where you practically don't see them anymore, period. 

Never forget, WHITE people sit at the heads of all these dastardly tables. 

These pale-skinned degenerates are just looking to point the finger elsewhere to make themselves feel more humane; instead of the rotten, vapid, and ultimately empty and soulless slugs that they are. 

We are the ones who gave this world civilization, and they are the ones fated to keep it in chaos. 

And no matter how hard they try, they can't deflect that stark-raving truth.

The legend of Wesley Snipes...

This is the second part of an e-book I'll be offering for free on Black revolutionaries and their contributions to the diaspora. 

The first part of this e-book is a short bio on Dave Chappelle and his refusal to follow the dictates of emasculating white supremacists. I'll leave a link for that post at the end of this one. 

And if you're wondering why I'm calling brotha Wesley a revolutionary, especially in light of his recent problems with the IRS, I'm about to tell ya'...

So without further ado...here's Part 2:

Recently, I watched Spike Lee's documentary on the 25th anniversary of Michael Jackson's 'Bad' album. 

About a third of the way through, Spike showed behind the scenes footage of the 'Bad' video, that aired in 1987. 

And in one scene, Martin Scorsese, who I can't stand by the way, told the story of how Wesley was the clear choice for playing Michael's nemesis in the short film. Now, I'm sure Wesley's acting was clearly up to par, but after viewing the video again, I saw that Scorsese gave the part to Wesley because of his darker skin tone.

Remember, the white elite always wants to keep a Black face on crime; and the darker, the better. But if you watch that video, Wesley gives a stellar performance despite Scorsese's ulterior motives. 

With this video, in one fatal swoop, Scorsese wanted to portray all of darker-skinned Black men as 'nightmares to humanity' (shout out to Tupac for this term...look this up in his poem 'And Tommorrow'), but what Wesley went on to do was give darker-skinned Black men a sexier image than they'd had in years; and his acting career went much farther than Scorsese, or any of Wesley's peers potentially thought it ever would.  

With that said, let's take a look back at Wesley's beginnings...

Wesley Trent Snipes was born on July 31st, 1962 in Orlando, Florida; his father Wesley R. Snipes Sr. was an aircraft engineer and his mother Marian Snipes was a teacher's assistant. 

Shortly after his birth, he and his parents moved to the Bronx, New York where Wesley was raised. 

Showing an early aptitude for acting, Wesley eventually was accepted into New York's Fiorello H. Laguardia's School for the performing arts...better known as the 'Fame' school, for the movie that was eventually made about it. 

After graduating high school, Wesley attended college in Florida; he then moved back to NYC and studied acting at the State University of New York's (SUNY) Purchase College. Shortly thereafter, he also attended classes at Southwest College in L.A.

At 23 he acquired an agent and was cast in his film debut 'Wildcats' with Goldie Hawn. This was a very forgettable film, but it got Wesley's foot in the door. 

After appearing in an episode of Miami Vice, Wesley was cast in Michael Jackson's 'Bad' video. And this is where Spike Lee first saw him. 

Spike offered Wesley a small part in 'Do The Right Thing', but he declined; choosing instead to play 'Willie Mays Hayes' in the film 'Major League'. 

Major League was a hit and went on to spawn a sequel; and this was the first in a succession of mainstream films Wesley was in, like Spike Lee's 'Mo' Better Blues' and 'Jungle Fever'. But it was his next film that cemented his legendary status as a full-fledged star. 

New Jack City was the directorial debut of Mario Van Peebles. Mario's father Melvin, gave us cinematic gems like 'Sweet Sweetback's Badassss song' and 'Watermelon Man'; both classics. And his son Mario, hit a home run his first time out with this flick. 

Released in 1991, the film got it's name from the screenwriter Barry Michael Cooper, who is a New York based journalist. Barry conceived this script from his front page article in NYC's Village Voice newspaper; it's title being: 'Kid's killing kids: New Jack City eats its young'.

Barry says he thought about the 'new jack' gangsters who replaced the likes of Frank Lucas and Nicky Barnes in Harlem. He also thought of Teddy Riley's popular music called the 'new jack swing' at the time; hence how he arrived at the term 'New Jack City'. 

Coincidentally, Barry also scripted the films 'Above the rim' and 'Sugar Hill'; he's also credited as the first Black scriptwriter in history to have two films produced in one year; those being the ones mentioned above which were both completed in 1994.

New Jack City was the highest grossing independent film of 1991. It was made for approximately 8 million dollars and it grossed nearly 47 million domestically. 

I always wondered why Mario Van Peeble's was never able to recreate the magic he'd made with 'New Jack'; I didn't realize at the time that the most important element of movie making, is the writing of the script. I remember Keanu Reeves didn't take the easy payday of 'Speed 2' because he emphatically said that the script was subpar. But back to Wesley... 

In 1991, Black moviegoers had basically two choices when it came to cinema fare. These were the stories of self-destructive, gun-wielding, miserably poor and under-privileged tenement dwelling Black people ala 'Boyz in the hood' and 'Straight outta' Brooklyn'; or movies about white male action heros ala 'Terminator 2', Jean-Claude Van Damme's 'Double Impact' or Steven Seagal's 'Out for justice'. 

Even the films oriented towards more of a 'mainstream' Black audience like 'House Party 2' and 'Strictly Business', which are good movies by the way, especially Strictly Business...who could forget Wayman Tisdale? These films seemed to have effeminate or emasculated Black men as protagonists.

Wesley's portrayal of 'Nino Brown', while incredibly notorious, was the first time since the halcyon days of 'Black exploitation' films, that we'd seen a mentally strong and powerful Black man at the helm of any organization. 

Now, understand, I'm not praising Nino's character being a drug dealer, but it was the first time in a long while that we'd seen a darker-skinned Black man who was hyper-fit, fearless and forward thinking.   

And combined with Wesley's acting prowess and charisma, it made Nino's character nothing short of mesmerizing. 

Shortly after 'New Jack' became a classic, Wesley's on-screen presence was slowly turning him into a major action star. This was a title usually reserved for white men. And for anyone over 30, you should remember that back in the late 80's and 90's, a Black man had to be lighter-skinned and very european looking to be considered attractive.

Wesley broke down this barrier, the same way Sidney Portier had done decades before. Black people were finally seeing their darker skin as an asset instead of a liability. 

Moreover, with movies like 'White men can't jump', 'Rising Sun', 'Demolition Man' and 'Passenger 57', Wesley was becoming a bonafide sex symbol. 

I have to include this side note...I remember the scene in 'White men can't jump' when Woody Harrelson's character uttered the phrase, "You'd rather look good and lose, than look bad and win..." pertaining to Black people; and it adversely affected me. 

At the time I was an anglophile, so that really reinforced the white supremacist, school system induced self-hatred that our people are kept in. 

Fast forward decades later, and I see how white elites have shut down this government because Obama's health care initiatives have become law. 

So that says what? 

It says that whites would rather lose with a white man (Bush Jr.'s health care system and how it was bankrupting white americans), than win with a Black man (Obama's health care initiatives which would help the majority of poor and working class whites). But I digress...

In 1998 Wesley starred in the movie 'Blade'; and this film showed Wesley at the peak of his powers.

It was his largest success grossing $150 million worldwide, and behind this Wesley received a star on the Hollywood 'Walk of fame' and an honorary doctorate from his alma mater SUNY Purchase college.  

Blade combined Wesley's athleticism with his strong acting skills and his martial arts training. This is why his fight scenes looked so believable, even though he was playing a superhero (or super'Heru'...again, Heru was one of our ancient ancestor's deities, and this is where we get the word 'hero' from).

Black people had never had a film's superhero they could relate to, or who our young people thought was genuinely 'cool'; Wesley's Blade changed that. 

And speaking of Wesley's martial arts training, I never knew how extensive it was until I did the research for this post. His martial arts pedigree looks like this: Beyond Wesley being trained in the martial arts since the age of 12, he holds a fifth degree Black belt in Shotokan Karate and a second degree Black belt in the martial discipline of Hapkido. His other training includes, belts in Kung Fu, his membership with the u.s. branch of the Shaolin Temple and training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. 

*One more side note: The origins of 'martial arts' are African. The word 'martial' comes from the ancient African word 'Montu', as in the 'Montu' arts; and this is where I got the first part of my pseudonym (or pseudo-name) from. 

The word 'Uhuru' is a Swahili word meaning freedom.

So the first part of my name (MontUHURU) literally means 'fight for freedom'...if anyone wanted to know. 

Back to Wesley in 'Blade'...the reason the sequels never lived up to the first movie, is 'cause the white elites didn't want a darker-skinned, hyper-masculine Black man to be that attractive to the youth. We have to be kept loving whites...so the Blade sequels included Wesley joining with white groups in order to fight off vampire plaques.  

So much so, that Wesley sued New Line Cinema in 2005 for not receiving his full salary, being kept out of important casting decisions and for the studio's cutting his screen time in favor of his white co-stars Ryan Reynolds and Jessica Biel. 

Okay, now let's discuss what everyone's really wanting to read about...Wesley's travails with the IRS. 

Firstly, let's start with this preamble: In the 1990's Wesley and his brother started a security firm called 'The Royal Guard of Amen-Ra' which provided VIP bodyguards trained in law enforcement. Mind you, 'Ra' is our ancient ancestor's name for the sun or the Sun-God; so Wesley is very knowledgeable about his/our ancestors.  

Amen-Ra was also the name of Wesley's film company, which produced a great documentary about the Black nationalist elder Dr. John Henry Clarke called 'A great and mighty walk'. This doc is on YouTube and is definitely worth a viewing. 

The Amen-Ra company has offices in Florida, Antiqua and Africa. 

Now, Wesley, along with his tax advisers, were invoking what's known as the '861 Position' as defined by america's Federal Tax Code. 

Adherents say this provision, does not list wages as taxable. So Wesley was essentially making a case against having his company's wages taxed.

Now, what he was doing WAS legal; and he had very good advisers processing his paperwork to have this done correctly. 

Problem is, no matter how right Wesley and his team were, this government was going to make an example of him, for fear of other people following his lead. 

This is why I call Wesley a revolutionary, because he was seeking sovereignty over himself and his wages that people are being unfairly taxed with everyday. 

*Side Note: Wesley also bought property in Atlanta, Georgia for the expressed purpose of building a facility where he could specially train security personnel for 'The Royal Guard of Amen-Ra'. After he did this, this government definitely had him under a microscope; 'cause that kind of 'security personnel' sounds too much like an army. 

Wesley not only purchased the Atlanta, GA property, but he opened one of his company's offices in Africa (his return to Africa, just like Dave Chappelle). 

Wesley did all this to further liberate himself from the government sham of his corporate 'strawman'; and I'll explain what that is in a second. 

Now, let's discuss what Wesley was and was not convicted of. 

The felony charges of conspiracy to commit tax fraud and failure to file a tax return were dropped in court. Also, three of the six tax fraud misdemeanors he was charged with were dropped. 

He was convicted however of three misdemeanors, and he received a years sentence for each one. Mind you, misdemeanor charges don't usually require you to do time, especially if you can post bail. But again, they had to make an example of brotha Wesley, so that's what they did. 

Now, in my past posts I've said Black people have lost more to self-hatred than anything else, and Wesley's case is a prime example of that; 'cause it was one person's self-hatred that put this whole witch-hunt in motion. And let me tell you how.

Now, after Wesley's tax advisory team devised a strategy to legally shelter his company from being taxed, Wesley flew the whole staff of his company, Amen-Ra, to the west coast for a meeting. 

At this meeting he detailed to his staff how he wasn't going to take taxes out of their paychecks anymore, and  his tax advisers listed case study after case study of how and why this was legal. 

But there was one anglophilic black person who insisted they wanted to pay taxes. So this person stayed with Amen-Ra, hired a C.P.A. and told that person they wanted to start the process of having their wages taxed. They also mentioned that they worked for the actor Wesley Snipes and he and his company didn't intend to pay taxes. So, this white C.P.A. called the IRS, indictments came down and the rest is history. 

Mind you, if this person was so scared of getting in trouble, why didn't they leave the company?

But this person was very vocal about wanting to pay their taxes, so Wesley should have found a constructive way to get them the hell out of his organization. I think this was Wesley's biggest mistake.   

Now, I commented on Wesley wanting to gain sovereignty from his 'strawman' earlier. So let me explain what that is. 

Ever wonder why your name appears in all capital letters on your social security number, or your birth certificate?

It's because that's NOT you...this is the corporate fiction the white elite have set up that's known to the sovereign community as the 'strawman'. 

When you're born, you're a free, sentient being that is not under the elites control. So in order for the elites to be able to levy assorted taxes and fees on your 'freeman', or your free and unbound human body, they've set up this corporate fictionalized version of you, so you in effect can pay this corporation's debts and be under the control of whatever elitest construct your born into; whether it be europrean, asian, american, etc. 

This is your 'strawman'. 

Remember the whole debacle some time ago about corporations being given the same rights as people...that's what this basically is. 

And how do they get you to comply with this elitist sham? Your parents comply as soon as they sign your birth certificate. Which really isn't giving you a choice at all. And, without knowing it, what your parents are doing is signing you, their child, away as a ward of the state. Meaning you really belong to them. 

Whenever you register something, your basically transferring ownership of that property over to the government. That's what the word 'registration' really means; and this goes for your house, your car, your child, etc. 

And if you remember the 'Wizard of Oz', the scarecrow, or the 'strawman'...had NO BRAIN. This is what white supremacists/elitist governments think of any working class person. 

But the real triumph of Wesley Snipes...besides the fact that he was released from prison recently; is that he's heeding the call of our ancestors and showing us the initiatives we need to take to get free from whatever oppressive corporation/country we find ourselves tethered to. 

Black men being the most reviled persons in this world have the most to lose when it comes to railing against this white supremacist system. And it's Black men like Wesley, Dave Chappelle and Kat Williams who are the ones defying the elitist status quo. 

That's gansta.

Wesley not only took the steps to get himself, his company and a lot of his people free, but he's showing us that with careful measures, it's worth doing.  Actually, it's IMPERATIVE that we get it done.

Now, I know what you're saying, you're thinking...this guy went to jail, how's he suppose to be an inspiration to any Black person? 

And I'm saying the reason he went to jail is because, he's found a way to actually use this government's tax codes against them, to benefit us. 

He was incarcerated, because what he did WORKED; and the white elites don't want anyone else to follow his lead. 

So it's up to Black people to take up the challenge of owning as much of themselves as possible. To REALLY GET FREE. 

Not free to choose between prada and gucci, but free to dig into the guts of this government's laws and really make them work for us.

'Cause if anyone is owed reparations in america, or owed an across the board tax exemption, it's Black people. 

And Wesley's actions are reminding us that sheltering our taxes and/or pursuing financial and mental freedom, is something we should be doing everyday. 

So let's get to work.

For those who think Barack ain't Black...

Whenever I come in contact with Black people who say Black americans are the most insipid of all Black people in the diaspora, I always remind them that we have a Black president in this country. 

And without fail, the number one response is...oh, he's not really Black, he was raised by a white woman. 

Well, yesterday I woke up finding out america's government was shut down; so let me tell you why this is further proof of my earlier reminder. 

'Conscious' Black people and 'pseudo-conscious' Black people, are always quick to say that Obama works for white supremacists and is one himself. But what they don't realize is, even if Barack doesn't think he's Black...ALL HIS RIVALS DO!

This is why Barack's opponents have literally shut down the government to oppose his health care initiatives. And this is why there's another 'debt ceiling' debacle/crisis, set to come up for debate after this one. This is like the fourth of fifth time Obama's opponents have threatened to shut this government down, just so he can be seen as a failure. 

So regardless of who raised him, or who's blood he's got in his veins, the only thing white politicians see when looking at Barack...IS A BLACK MAN!

What also gets me peeved is when Black people wanna' give the sole credit to a white woman for Obama's success. Remember Barack spoke in his books about his grandmother especially, talking disparagingly and being afraid of Black men. What do you think this does to a young Black man's mind? Barack also spoke about his mother fetishizing Black men as sexual objects. What did this say to a young Barack?

And the fact is, that the overwhelming majority of Black men who are american politicians, were raised by BLACK MOTHERS...so where are their accolades?

Now, should Barack's father have been more involved in his life, absolutely, that is...if the man pictured to the right is actually Barack's father. There's conjuncture that this man was just someone at the airport a young Barack was traveling at, who was asked to take a picture with him. It's said that Barack Obama's name was changed as well, according to some, he used to be named Barry Soweto or Barry Soetoro, depending on which article you read. But I'll discuss these matters in a later post. 

And for any 'birthers' out there who wanna' use this post to talk about Obama's 'birth certificate' and say he wasn't born here; what we CAN confirm is John McCain, Obama's first opponent in the race for president...WAS BORN IN PANAMA. That's right, WE KNOW FOR SURE THAT McCAIN WASN'T BORN IN THIS COUNTRY...SO WHY THE HELL WAS HE EVEN ALLOWED TO RUN FOR PRESIDENT? KILL THAT NOISE!

Now understand, I'm under no illusion as to who Obama works for, the white supremacists in power definitely put him where he is; but like the metaphysician brotha Bobby Hemmitt said: "I don't care if Hitler himself put Barack in his position, he's still an important symbol to Black people..."

Google Bobby Hemmitt, if ya' don't know who he is.

*Side Note: Dr. Phil Valentine, another Black metaphysician, said in terms of titles for referencing what he does or teaches, he's more of a 'Neter'-physician than a 'meta'-physician. The word Neter/Netjer/Netcher is another word for 'Black' God in our ancient language the 'Medu Netcher'. The symbols you see on the sides of pyramid walls that the greeks/freaks have named 'heiroglyphics'...that's the Medu Netcher...our people's ancient language. Google all these terms and names. 

So, for any Black person reading this who is of the opinion that Barack ain't Black, take these facts into consideration. Also consider the fact that when Barack was elected/selected, Black people in Africa were also holding parties in the streets celebrating his victory.

And for any Black person who's still of the opinion that Black americans are the dumbest of the diaspora, think about what your extended families are dealing with, or have dealt with at the hand of fascist whites. 

And remember, if you're Black, you can't think disparagingly about any faction of the diaspora, without ultimately hating yourself for being Black. 

And there's no exception to this rule.
