The virtues of segregation (Part 4)...What do Floyd Mayweather and the Black Wall Street have in common?

Floyd Joy Mayweather Jr., was born on February 24, 1977; and if you're reading this Blog, you should already know he's an undefeated champion prize-fighting boxer. He holds five boxing division world championships and has won eleven world titles in four different weight classes. He's also won 'Ring magazine's', 'Fighter of the year' award twice, and the 'Boxing Writer's Association of America's' 'Fighter of the year' award in 2007.

Mayweather also topped the 'Forbes' and 'Sports Illustrated' lists of the fifty highest paid athletes of 2012 and 2013, and he claimed this title again in 'Forbes' magazine in 2014. He also founded his own boxing promotion company called, 'Mayweather Promotions' in 2007. On top of these accolades, Floyd's currently credited with being the highest paid athlete in the world.

Now recently, in one of my last posts titled, 'Are Black relationships doomed to fail', I showed how Floyd's documentary '30 days in May', produced by Showtime, used Black and white symbolism to reinforce reasons why the Black Diaspora should hate themselves and everyone who looks like them; and how they did this with a very sublime depiction of a teleprompter flashing the word 'hypnosis' in one of this documentary's scenes.

But even more recently, Floyd's junior-middleweight title was taken away after he supposedly failed to pay a $20,000 'sanctioning fee' to the 'World Boxing Association'(WBO), for his last fight against Manny Pacquiao.

What the WBO and the World Boxing Council are saying, is a champion can only hold a world title in one weight division; so 38 year old Mayweather, has to actually pay these scam artists, I mean, organizations, to vacate other weight class titles he's holding, so he can be the current champ exclusively in the junior-middleweight division. Basically, they're penalizing Floyd for being too good at what he does...amongst other things, which I'll get to in a sec'.

The 'Black Wall Street' was an area in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where there were literally scores of Black men who were millionaires behind owning their own businesses. Our people owned movie theaters, hospitals, banks, bus lines, airplanes, and every other kind of enterprise you can think up. This was after the turn of the century before last in the early 1900's. The Black family was very much in tact, and the economics of Black people were strengthened to the point of rivaling, and is some cases, out-performing, the economie(s) of white americans.

Pale-skinned fascists bombed the Black Wall Street in 1921. And if you look up the Black Wall Street in 'wikipedia', it says that the demise of this area came about due to the 'rioting' of Black people.

With this preamble out of the way, let's now get to what Floyd and the Black Wall Street have in common...and that's this: both were and are, TOO BLACK AND TOO STRONG TO EXIST IN THE EYES OF WHITE FASCISTS!

See, white sportscasters and commentators will call Floyd a spend-thrift, they'll call him arrogant, flashy, loud and foul-mouthed, and anything else that's negative to assassinate his character, but what he really is more than all these things, is SMARTER THAN THE AVERAGE ATHLETE!

THAT'S WHY HE'S UNDEFEATED!

If you're a Black man or woman who's over thirty, I'm guessing you can remember them saying some of the same negative things about Muhammad Ali; but what they never say about him is, that just like Floyd, he 'out-smarted' his opponents. And his defensive innovation of the 'rope-a-dope', was proof of this. Think about it, it's almost absurd for a pugilist to 'let' his opponent hit him not only once, but several times. This is what Ali did against the ropes in a defensive posture; he did this so his opponent(s) would wear themselves out. Then, he'd stage his attack.

That's straight-up military science!

And Ali's ingenuity was, and is, the reason he's one of the most revered athletes across generations; or as he put it: “the greatest of ALL times”. Now Floyd also came up with his own ingenious defensive style, that being his 'shoulder roll', or the way he tucks his chin beneath and leads with his shoulder: that's a down right brilliant way of him minimizing his likelihood of being hit. On top of this, his almost psychic ability to know when his opponent will throw a punch, has him undefeated after 48 fights.

Also, Floyd's incredibly rich. And his net worth is valued at nearly half a billion dollars...yes, that's billion with a 'b'. And beyond this fact, what really gets whitey's goat, is Floyd's proving the white man's greatest unspoken fear, that Black men are physically stronger, and better physical fighters than they are.

See, white men will never confess to feeling completely emasculated in the presence of Black men. This is why white cops, holding Black guns, (i.e. the Black phallus...think about it, when's the last time you saw a cop with a 'white' gun?) shoot Black men down indiscriminately and why they get so pissed when Black convicts tell them, “...if you take off your gun and your badge, I'll kick your ass.” And white men/film-writers tackle this very subject in the movie, 'End of Watch'; I wrote a post about this and I'll leave a link for it at the end of this one.

On top of all this, white men have always felt sexually inferior in the presence of Black men. And to everyone out there, I wanna' always emphasize this has nothing to do with penis size, this has to do with a Black man's 'genetic' power to breed white men out of existence and his ability to create every other type of man, while none of them can create one of him. *smiles*

I don't wanna make light of this fact by gloating, but if you're a man who is blessed to have been born into a Black body, understand, despite everything whitey has taught you, I'm here to tell you: YOU WON THE ETHNIC LOTTERY! SO DON'T EVER LET A WHITE MAN, OR ANY OTHER KIND OF MAN, MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE A LOSER!!

Moving on...

Now, as I've emphasized ever since I've started this Blog, the point to expounding on all this is not to hate white people, it's to see white fascism for what it is, so the Black Diaspora can get out of the conditioned self-hatred we've been nearly force-fed through living in any white fascist social order.

Now, this would be effortless in a nation, or a nation-state, where Black people lived in an ethnic homogeneity; i.e. segregation. And let me just add, because we don't, our celebrities like Floyd can be penalized by white fascists who can strip him of his title over twenty grand, when his fights generate literally billions of dollars of revenue not only for the network 'Showtime', but for the state of Nevada, period!

And if you're thinking, how is Floyd doing that? Think about the revenue 'Showtime' earns for pay-per-view rights to his fights, and how when he does fight, people from all over the country buy hotel rooms, gas, rental cars, cloths, shoes, food and merchandise in his hometown of Nevada.

Beyond this fact, I also need Black people to understand, that money is NOT power!

And this is a reality because, at anytime when we, the Black Diaspora, have too much of it, whitey's power to devalue it, makes it worthless.

Our true power lies in our UNITY! This will get us access to ANY RESOURCE!

I remember a time several years ago, when the Black Haitian economy was thriving behind it's tourist trade; whitey devalued the Haitian dollar, so the majority of Haitians had wads of money, but couldn't buy any food. So they literally resorted to eating dirt. And I always shake my head at the fact that Haitians coming to america always think they're some how better than Black americans; and how the majority of them treat white people, the same people who have their families starving in their native country, like gold. *smdh*

So, I've said all that to say this, that ALL THE DYSFUNCTION IN THE BLACK DIASPORA IS A DIRECT RESULT OF OUR LIVING IN A WHITE FASCIST SOCIAL ORDER...ALL OF IT!!

And I know Black people love to talk about our 'crabs in a bucket' syndrome, but we need to understand this is a direct result of our being conditioned to hate ourselves more than anyone on this planet through assorted white supremacist mediums like the american educational system, american TV, movies, billboard ads, etc.

Because we have the most genetic power to breed them out of existence and their birth rates are falling below replacement levels, we are PUBLIC ENEMY NUMBER ONE, AND THEY HAVE TO EXTERMINATE EVERY ONE OF US!

Remember, a Black woman, and especially, a Black man living anywhere, is a threat to white people everywhere.

Another aspect of this the Black Diaspora really has to content with, is Black people who don't know, or don't care, that they've been conditioned to hate themselves and every one looking like them.

I explained in my last post about a Black man who I thought was an advocate for our people outing himself as as anglophile, and recently, I looked at this pseudo-Black man's blog and saw how he's found a way to compare Dylan Roof, the pale-skinned degenerate who shot up a Black church prayer meeting, with another Black man who killed several people. What this anglophilic kiss-ass fails to realize, is the system of white fascism in america is what has us not only conditioned to hate ourselves and each other, but is what has us killing each other indiscriminately.

And if you say, can you prove that? Just look at the example of the Black Wall Street, this area was nearly devoid of those types of mass murders, because our people have the ability to leave in harmony with nature, given peaceful and benevolent surroundings we can create for ourselves; and white people clearly don't have this capacity for creating these kinds of living situations.

There was also a Black woman who frequented and commented on my Blog for the better part of a year, who recently told me that the rift between the Black man and woman is irreparable and the campaign to save the Black family is officially dead. This is after spending several days, weeks and hours reading what's on my Blog.

So this Black woman learned absolutely nothing here!

She wasted her time, which would have been better spent pursuing a 'non-Black' man to marry, which is what she really wants, whether she realizes it or not.

So again, if we can see what's been done to us, and is continually being done to us by white fascists/fascism, we can change how we look and feel about ourselves and each other.

'Cause ultimately, only our segregated unity will SAVE US!

HOW MANY MORE ATROCITIES DOES THE BLACK DIASPORA HAVE TO SUFFER, BEFORE WE REALIZE, WE'LL NEVER BE ABLE TO PEACEFULLY CO-EXISTS WITH THESE BEASTS WHO CALL THEMSELVES WHITE PEOPLE?

And let me say also, our revolution won't start with hundreds, thousands or millions of Black folk, it will start with YOU CHANGING YOUR OWN MIND!

And this is the work we must do to heal the rift between the Black man and woman, and to save the Black family!

NOTHING ABOUT THE BLACK DIASPORA'S DYSFUNCTION IS NATURAL FAM!

IT HAS ALL BEEN CONDITIONED INTO US BY WHATEVER WHITE FASCIST SOCIAL ORDER WE'RE LIVING IN!

Why do Haitians, Jamaicans and Black Africans, own retail stores in america quicker than Black americans?

In the past few years, I've noticed how Black Africans, Jamaicans and Haitians, have waxed philosophic about how Black americans are the dumbest of our diaspora. 

This always struck me as odd 'cause I hear them saying this, but when Barack Obama was elected president, I distinctly remember how a Jamaican co-worker of mine marked his calender with that date, saying it was 'history'. I also remember how many groups of Black Africans were literally celebrating in the streets back in the motherland, feeling it was their victory too.

And it never fails that when I remind people about Barack Obama's american presidency, how some Black person will ultimately say, well...he's not really Black. Well, consider this, the day Obama was elected, a white supremacist website, 'Stormfront', crashed due to all the traffic coming through it. A week after he was elected, 'teabaggers' rallied with high powered rifles slung over their shoulders just miles away from the white house. These same teabaggers, held picket signs saying Obama's plan was 'white slavery'; as if that's any different from Black slavery...you shallow caucasians. That and the fact that this president has gotten more hate mail than any other in history, tells me Barack is Black...whether he wants to be or not!

Anyway, when I was younger, there was a long avenue filled with retail stores several blocks from my house; and at one time, the owners of a good many of these convenience stores, were Jamaican and Haitian, and there might have been one Black African owned store as well. But, I didn't see one of these stores owned by a Black american. When I was older, I wondered why this was. And I hear the sentiments of these groups saying they come to america and pass Black americans by in terms of achievement all the time. Even though, like I said earlier, we do have a Black president in this country. 

A couple of years after pondering this, due to my old neighborhood being gentrified, all the retail stores that were owned by Haitians, Jamaicans and Africans, are now owned by spanish and asian people; and again, Black americans couldn't seem to own one of these stores. And once more, the reason why alluded me. But being a little older, and a little more 'conscious', I found out the reason, and here it is...

I know I keep referring to the 'Black Wall Street' in Tulsa, Oklahoma, but this area represented Black americans doing everything right, as opposed to what we're doing today. In this area, we owned literally several hundred businesses, like restaurants, grocery stores, and like it says in the picture above, even a bus system; we created a thriving economy that rivaled whitey's...and mind you, this was in the early 1900's...POST-SLAVERY!   

And again, it was so successful, that whitey bombed this area in 1921.

I'm reminding you of that to say this, the reason whitey will allow Haitians, Jamaicans and Black Africans to operate a business like a retail store before Black americans, is 'cause BLACK AMERICANS WERE THE ONLY GROUP OF BLACK PEOPLE WHO SHOWED WHITEY, ESPECIALLY IN AMERICA, THAT WE COULD BUILD AN ECONOMY THAT RIVALED OR POSSIBLY EVEN THREATENED TO TAKE OVER THEIR OWN!

And I'm saying this to illustrate the fact that, for the most part, Black Haitians, have been poor for centuries and are still poor, Black Jamaicans, have been poor for centuries and are still poor; and the overwhelming majority of Black Africans, have been poor for centuries...and are still poor. Beyond this, these groups come to america looking down on Black americans and treating white people like their gods! A lot of them don't realize how white fascists have made them so destitute in their native countries, that they had to leave just to make a living...that's why they're in america. 

Now, with that stated, what I'm not saying is Black americans are better than these groups, 'cause we got tricked out of our economic power base(s) in this country to follow the agenda of 'integration'...and we've been beggin' ever since!

What I am saying is, Black americans and every other kind of Black person, needs to realize what we do have in common; and that's two things...one, we're all now dependent on white fascists for our food, clothing and shelter; and two, we've all been conditioned to hate ourselves and each other. 

Ya' gotta' love these inbreds!

And once again, for any person saying I'm just telling people to hate whites, I'm saying that's a crock! My message is, let's get rid of the self-hatred whites have bred into us for decades, so we can work together.

Now, whitey will always tell us one of these groups is better than the other, this way they're always assured we have no unity...and ultimately, that's how they stay in power. If Black Haitians hate Black americans, and Black Jamaicans hate Black americans, and Black americans hate Black Africans, whitey sits back and laughs at us, 'cause he knows 'Willie Lynch' was right. I've actually seen Black americans spit at Black Africans who were working in a convenience store, 'cause they weren't 'one of us'. That's lunacy.

So, what's the solution?

Again, getting rid of our collective self-hatred, is the answer to all our problems!

And once again, I'm suggesting we do this with meditative techniques at the subconscious level, but in order to even get that far, we need to realize 'consciously' how we've been conditioned to hate ourselves more than any other kind of person on the planet for nearly two decades in our collective school systems...wherever we're located!

And we need to realize the conditioning we got to hate ourselves, is ten times worse than any other ethnic group gets in the world!

I mean, could you imagine if Black Haitians, Jamaicans, Africans and americans worked together? We'd all be rich! 

The main tenet of white supremacy is every single Black person must feel like they're the worst kind of person walking the face of the earth...that's the game.

Now, in order to get rid of our self-hatred, there are a few methods that will work, but one that ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT!

And, I'll share that method with you in my next post. So stay tuned...

Melissa Ortiz and (Uncle) Tommy Sotomayor ask 'why are Black women so argumentative?'...Here's the answer...(Remix)

About a year ago, I came across a YouTube video of a woman named Melissa Ortiz titled, 'Why are Black women so argumentative'. Now, I'll readily admit, this vid pissed me off to no end, not only because I've seen Ms. Ortiz's antics involving the dissing of Black women in the past, but I know that Ms. Ortiz is a spanish woman pretending to be Black, so she can have an easier time dissing Black women.

Now, if you've been following this Blog at all for a couple of months, I guess you know by now that I'm not a fan of (Uncle) Tommy Sotomayor's; but he posed this question a lot himself, and since he's what I call a 'white supremacist simp' he's used his self-hating diatribes to rationalize why Black women are predisposed to being bitter. So, I'd like to answer this question in hopes that it gives some insight into the disposition of the Black women society calls 'argumentative'.

First off, I'd like to state that Tommy, Melissa and the general public's notion that all Black women are argumentative and abrasive is A LIE!

If you do happen across one Black woman with an attitude, this post will expound on the reasons she might have for being that way, but ultimately, casting aspersion on the whole of Black women, is another technique used by (Uncle) Tommy and Melissa to slander the image of every Black woman. 

Now, let's deal with the quote below my pictured header; this was a statement made to me by a young Black woman when I was in high school. So, for anyone wanting an insight into why Black women might be argumentative, take a hard look at this quote. 

This young woman said, "GOD didn't give us (Black people) anything..." So what is that implying? It's saying that everything about Black people is wrong; it speaks to her being made to feel that our very existence on this earth is a mistake. That her very God has cast us out of his/her favor. Now, do you think she was born with this opinion? 

Hell no!

This opinion was bred into her by the people Melissa Ortiz and Tommy Sotomayor love most, white fascists.

Now, can you imagine the pain this young woman was suffering and carrying around thinking this about herself? 

Now, that's just for starters.

To everyone reading this, and especially Black men, think about the plight of the Black woman for a sec'. Now, you understand beauty, or physical attractiveness, means something different to a woman than it does a man. It is the measuring stick the overwhelming majority of all women determine their self-worth by; and this shouldn't be the case, but that's the way it is. So tell me, how would you feel about yourself, if all you saw on TV is the image of a blond haired, fair-skinned woman being portrayed as the standard of beauty, when your looks are completely the opposite of what you're seeing on the screen. Mind you, at the time, this was back in the mid-80's, there was nothing countering this sentiment. The Black power movement had flat-lined and the order of the day was, if you didn't have a hawk nose, pin-thin lips and damn near white skin, you weren't attractive, and no one was gonna' find you attractive.

And even though I was a young Black man, I understood how this sista felt, 'cause I had been made to feel the same way. 

There was no one to tell that young sista that the Black woman was once the standard of beauty for women world-wide. Hell, Hollywood even made Cleopatra white (Elizabeth Taylor).

On top of this, think about what 'mainstream society' is saying to today's Black women in terms of dating and marriage. Whitey's stats tell Black women, she's the least likely to get married and the least likely to get responses on a dating website; and according to asian scientists (in this case an outright quack) like Satoshi Kanazawa, she's told her facial features are the least attractive amongst all ethnic groups of women.

Fortunately, there's a bit more of a Black consciousness to counter-act this kinda' non-sense now-a-days, but sub-consciously, the damage to our sistas has already been done by white supremacists and their institutions.

Now, consider that the majority of Black women grew up in fatherless homes. Mind you, this relationship is one of the most, if not the most important to a young woman in terms of her future relationships, 'cause this more than anything determines how good or bad her dating life with other men will be for pretty much the rest of her life. Meaning, once the father-daughter bond is broken, the ramifications of that can lead a young women into being oversexed and in abusive relationships as the norm. And, if the young woman's mother is conditioned to hate Black men as well, the young woman is in jeopardy of never being able to discern between a decent Black man who's courting her for the right reasons or one who means to do her harm. She could have the perfect Black man in front of her, but she'll never see him because to her, they're ALL out to abuse her. 

And as a result of growing up without a father, more than likely, she and her mother will have to fend for themselves financially; and if she one day becomes a single mother herself, she'll have to play mother and father to a child. Not to mention, the travails she'll endure having to get and keep a job...or two. 

A woman's greatest want is security, or at least some semblance of financial stability; and unfortunately not nearly enough Black women get this from Black men. In some ways, she feels like she's been thrown to the wolves without any kind of protection or protector. And she sees that the majority of the time when Black men do make some money, they share it with some plain-looking white woman instead of them. 

And understand, white men love seeing our women in this state, because it insures that the Black Diaspora will stay in continual disarray, and it makes Black women ripe for their exploitation, either in the work place, sexually or both. 

Now, let's rewind back and see why so many of our children are born into fatherless homes.

Why is it that in the early 1900's the Black nuclear family was more intact than it is now? 

Under segregation, we had no choice but to work together and more or less 'fend for ourselves. Behind this, we had areas like the 'Black Wall Street' where Black men not only created a thriving financial infrastructure, but the Black woman could depend on us for food, clothing and shelter. So much so, that white supremacists bombed the Black Wall Street on June 1st, 1921. Now for the white supremacist simps out there, should we just forget about this? Should we not blame the pale-skinned degenerates who destroyed the financial infrastructure we created when we were doing the right thing for ourselves?

Anyway, what happened next was the white fascists got hip to the fact that we would build back our businesses if this country was kept segregated, so integration became the first tool whitey used to get us away from one another, because unity is the truest power, not money. 

After whitey effectively integrated us into 'mainstream society' and told us we could now go to his schools, he created a curriculum for us that would effectively make us hate ourselves and each other. This was the second and by far most effective tool used to get Black women and men away from one another.

Now, once Black women and men were conditioned to hate each other and we turned away from our financial infrastructure to integrate with these degenerate devils, Black women could no longer depend on Black men for food, clothing and shelter because we weren't working for ourselves, we were now working for whitey. Enter the public assistance system where Black women could now depend on white institutions for these needs. And what was the main condition for Black women to get this sort of financial help...you have to get rid of the Black man. This was the third tool used to get Black men and women away from one another. 

My point is this, it's not a coincidence that the Black Diaspora is in this dysfunctional state, this was thoroughly planned out by white fascists so we would never be as powerful as we were during the times of the Black Wall Street.

And I'm not saying just sit back and blame whitey and everything will get better, again, I'm saying, let's see what's been done to us, so we can correct the problem and solve it.

So after all this, the last kind of man a Black woman wants to be with is a Black one. Now, once this Black woman has a college degree and some proximity to other ethnic groups of men, she says, I can't depend on Black men for anything, so let me try 'something new' and date outside of my diaspora. How this woman usually winds up after decades of being with white, spanish and asian men is oversexed and alone at fifty after spending decades being a sex toy for them...just like Black men with this same philosophy wind up after their pursuits of relationships outside of our community. We think we're really doing something by dating outside our diaspora, but ultimately the joke's on us, 'cause we both wind up being sex toys for every other ethnic group.

Now, for all the reasons stated, as a Black woman, this is gonna make you kinda' frustrated, kinda' angry and kinda' argumentative. 

Now, if you're a Black man reading this, am I saying you should try to be in a relationship with a bitter Black woman? NO!

Am I saying that you should try to marry this type of Black woman? NO!

Am I saying this woman is hard to get along with. YES!

But consider this, and I'm talking to the Black men who fancy themselves Black Nationalists...myself included; what I'm saying is when you encounter a sista who you think is bitter and argumentative, for all the reasons I've just listed, you must see HER STRUGGLE FIRST, BEFORE YOU SEE HER ATTITUDE!

REMEMBER, SHE WASN'T BORN THAT WAY, SHE WAS BRED INTO BEING THAT BY THE AMERICAN SOCIAL ORDER! AND YOU MUST SEE HER ATTITUDE AS A SYMPTOM OF HER STRUGGLE!

Now, they'll be some brothas who say, aw man, what kind of 'simptastic' crap is that? You're sayin' I shouldn't dislike this woman? 

What I'm saying is, here's what will happen to you if you just dismiss this sista as 'another bitter Black woman'...

First, you're gonna' cast aspersion on all Black women and think they're all like that, meaning you'll never have a good Black woman in your life, if you truly want one.

Second, you'll use this as a rationale on why you don't like being around Black people period; and this will reinforce the conditioning you have to hate your own kind.

Third, consciously or subconsciously, you'll use this to reinforce why you should hate yourself for being Black.

And this is no theory! I can say this will happen to you definitively 'cause I've done this myself!

This mentality was force-fed into us for one specific purpose; and that is for the Black Diaspora to hate itself...if you're a Black man or woman reading this, that includes you too!

Now, a clear example of how indulging in this kinda' hatred backfires on the person ingesting it, is the tale of Melissa Ortiz and Tommy Sotomayor themselves.

Melissa was a staunch advocate of Tommy's and made videos saying his diatribes about Black women were the gospel truth. As of late though, they are now feuding and talking about how much they can't stand each other.

And it serves that refried bean eatin', leaf blowin', orange-pickin' tramp right...ya' see, she tried to openly diss Black women by saying she was one of them, and being that Tommy hates Black women, she met his wrath too. 

Again, good for her a$$! 

Now consider this, if you're a Black man complaining that there's no Black women who are genial, demure and exquisitely feminine, then here's what you (and I) have to do. Get together with some other brothas and build a community where the only thing Black women have to concern themselves about is taking care of (their) children and keeping up the home you provide for them to take care of those children in. Period. This will more than likely ensure that these Black women will have the sweet demeanor of some white trust fund baby named Buffy. 

You can't expect a woman who's working two jobs, or extended hours on one of them consistently, raising kids alone and who never knew their father to be 'apple pie' sweet...that's crazy. 

But in order for us to do any of this...we HAVE TO GET RID OF OUR COLLECTIVE SELF-HATRED!

Now, I advocate meditative techniques to do this at the subconscious level, but if we can at least consciously see this has been done to us, we can start on the path to fixing it!

Black men, we have made strides individually...we have; now we need to make them collectively to benefit the whole of the diaspora.

3 Reasons why Hurricane Katrina was far worse than Hurricane Sandy...

On August 23rd of 2005, Hurricane Katrina descended on New Orleans; and for it's residents, especially it's Black residents, life would never be the same. 

Now, lately, I've been hearing white folks talk about how much they suffered behind 2012's Hurricane Sandy; and now they're saying this disaster was just as bad, or in some cases worse, than the ravagings of Hurricane Katrina.

Now, this is nothing new. This is white people's attempt to show they can endure in the face of adversity like Black people can. 

This is also their attempt to show they can come through a trauma without crying foul like Black people do. 

But what I'll display here is how odious and insidious these people are when it comes to bending the truth to make themselves look better. 

They have no problems spinning facts to try and make light of Black people's suffering in america or the diaspora. 

So, here are my 3 reasons why Hurricane Katrina was far worse than Hurricane Sandy:

Reason#3: Even the white media are admitting the facts about which storm was worse.

The new york times ran an article comparing the overall damages of Hurricane Katrina and Sandy, and even they had to confess that Sandy was no Katrina. 

Here's some stats:

In terms of overall deaths suffered in these storms, Hurricane Katrina has Sandy beat; with Katrina having more than 1900 deaths and Sandy having barely over 200.

In terms of buildings destroyed, Katrina had over 1.2 million homes decimated and Sandy had about 305,000 living units deemed unlivable. 

In terms of sheer costs for damages, Sandy comes in at roughly 71 billion, while Katrina's dollar amount comes to 148 billion. 

And, in terms of displaced families, Katrina comes in at roughly 600,000 displaced residents; while according to the new york times...officials are still compiling data for Sandy's numbers. Read: the number of displaced residents for Sandy are embarrassingly small compared to Katrina's. 

Reason#2: During and after Hurricane Sandy, white displaced residents looking for food weren't called 'looters' or 'refugees'. 

It's amazing to me how Black people in the diaspora have such an affection and reverence for america; especially after Hurricane Katrina. 

After Black people were flooded out of their homes, many went looking for food in local supermarkets and strip malls. The TV news proceeded to label these people...american born citizens mind you, 'refugees' and 'looters'.

Intimating that Black people who were trying to survive were just criminals trying to get something for nothing. 

What this country was really saying and showing us, is we're NOT considered 'true' americans, like fair-skinned folks are; basically, we were and still are 'second-class citizens' in their eyes. 

And, what the TV news rarely spoke about was how these Black people were randomly shot down by police for trying to find sustenance. 

There was an instance where groups of Black people who tried to cross a bridge to get to dry land, were held back at gunpoint by police and told they were barred from going into the next town.

Still think america loves you Black people?

And last but not least...

Reason#1: Hurricane Sandy was a 'natural' disaster, while Hurricane Katrina's disaster was man-made.

Let me explain this point...Hurricane Sandy's devastating rains and winds were an 'act of god', just like Katrina's were.

Difference is, the flood waters of Katrina came behind the white elites bombing of the levees in new orleans. 

In 2006, Spike Lee aired a documentary on HBO called 'When the Levees Broke'. 

In this doc, several residents confessed to hearing three explosions before the lethal waters that killed many of their neighbors rushed in. 

One woman said she not only heard the explosions, but felt them. 

Rumor has it that this was done to displace large numbers of Black people out of areas like the fifth and ninth wards, because the white elites discovered some natural resource beneath those lands. 

I might dedicate a Blog post to that one day when I have researched the facts further; but what I do know is white fascists in america have a love affair with displacing Black people out of their neighborhoods in this country. 

And they give this act a pretty sounding name like 'gentrification'; when it's just good 'ole fashioned ethnic cleansing. 

So the next time a white person might wanna' talk some of this Hurricane Katrina vs. Sandy nonsense to you, remember these facts.

And either give them the finger...or walk the hell off.
