The cult of Black and white Cinematic Symbolism (Part 10)...What do Nate Parker and Freddy Krueger have in common?

Nate Parker was born on November 18^th, 1979 to a 17 year old single mother, Carolyn Whitfield, in Norfolk, Virginia. Even though Nate’s biological father didn’t marry his mother, he was still in Nate’s life until the age of 11. Shortly thereafter, Nate Sr. died due to complications from his cancer.

After Nate began having problems with the second man his mother married, at age 14, he went to live with his maternal uncle, Jay Combs. Jay was a former wrestler, who turned young Nate on to the sport. And after placing all his youthful passions into wrestling, Nate was awarded an athletic scholarship for his grappling endeavors in 1999. With it, he attended Pennsylvania State University that year. Amongst the turmoil of a rape allegation, Nate left Penn State and went to Oklahoma State University, the college he’d graduate from in 2002.

Shortly after graduating college, Los Angeles talent manager, Jon Simmoms, noticed and discovered Nate while he was with a model friend, and suggested he move to L.A. to pursue an acting career. Nate followed the advice, after Jon put together a press packet for him.

From there, Nate went on to act and star in several movies. But the one putting him on the map most officially, was his role as ‘Henry Lowe’, in the Denzel Washington directed film, ‘The Great Debaters’. For this role, Nate attended a debater’s ‘boot camp’ to make his portrayal more authentic. One of the main reasons behind this was, the character Henry Lowe was based on the real-life debate champion, Henry Heights from Wiley College.

Now, I’d be remiss if I just skipped over the rape allegation charges filed against Nate In 1999. So let’s delve into that. Nate and another wrestling student, Jean Celestin, were said to have taken advantage of a young white female at Penn State University, while she was drunk and unconscious. Long story short, Nate and Jean were able to hire a private eye to look into the matter, and this P.I. provided the evidence that convinced a nearly all-white jury (one juror was non-white), that Nate was innocent of ALL the charges filed against him.

Now let me say this, right off the rip—you have to have some incredibly powerful evidence supporting a Black man’s innocence, to get him acquitted of any rape charge. Especially when it’s a white woman doing the accusing. Cause any sane person knows, once a white woman says any Black man raped her, cops will assuredly put that brotha behind bars first, and then see if he’s innocent or guilty later. Also, in addition to filing rape charges against Nate, this woman complained to Penn University administrators, that she was being harassed by Nate’s private eye. This harassment allegedly included the showing of this woman’s photo to other college students. And Penn State settled the matter by rewarding this woman $17,500.

And in light of that, I’ll say this: If a woman is going to press rape charges against a man and have him sent to jail, I think she’d have bigger concerns than a P.I. showing her photo to students on a college campus. Oddly enough, white women feel it’s their right to file such charges in complete anonymity, when they’re in effect, putting someone’s life at risk by sending them to prison.

But before I go any further, let me make one point emphatically clear, and that point is this: No woman (or person) deserves to be raped. That is one of the most heinous, if not the most heinous crime someone can commit against anyone. However, if you wanna’ send a man to jail for this, or any other crime, you should be prepared to identify yourself as the one, who’s in effect, starting the process by which he might wind up behind bars.

And let me add this as well, the Black actress, Gabrielle Union, wrote an article in the Los Angeles Times about Nate’s rape charges. In it she says: “As important and ground-breaking as this film is, I can not take these allegations lightly. On that night, 17-odd years ago, did Nate have his date’s consent? It is very possible he thought he did. Yet by his own admission, he did not have verbal affirmation. And even if she never said ‘no’, silence certainly does not equal ‘yes’.”

Mind you, Gabrielle stars in Nate’s film.

So here’s the question everyone should be asking themselves: If Gabrielle thought in her heart of hearts, Nate was a rapist, WHY THE HELL WAS SHE IN HIS FILM?!

Understand, this is more of that Black feminist/womanyist non-sense that says you can have your cake and eat it too. But ultimately, Gabrielle’s belated moralizing just shows you exactly who she, and her fellow feminists/womanyists really are—a bunch of anglophilic opportunists.

Robert Barton Englund, was born on June 6^th, 1947, in Glendale, California. He’s the son of mother, Janis McDonald, and father, Kent Englund, who made his living as an aeronautics engineer.

Robert (pictured left) caught the acting bug at age 12, while attending a children’s theater program at California State University, North Ridge. And after attending an arts high school, he went to Michigan’s ‘Oakland University’, where he majored in theater. He spent five successful years acting in regional stage plays, where he performed Shakespearean and other ‘classically’ drama-themed roles, before returning to California, where he started looking for acting jobs.

In the midst of Robert’s auditioning, he was actually considered for the role of ‘Han Solo’ in ‘Star Wars’. At the same time, he convinced a friend who lived with him, a young Mark Hamill, to try out for the role of ‘Luke Skywalker’. And I think we all know how Mark’s audition went.

Long story short, Robert would go on to appear in several movie and TV shows like: Eaten Alive (1977), Galaxy of Terror (1981), V: the mini-series (1983), but all these roles had him typecast as a nerd, or a redneck. So Robert decided to go against this stereotype and play the insanely menacing and murderously claw-fingered, ‘Freddy Kreuger’ in Wes Craven’s movie, ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’.

Unbeknownst to Robert, A Nightmare on Elm Street, released in 1984, would be so widely successful, that it would not only give him a career-defining role, but it would make him one of the most recognizable genre film icons in movie history.

But now, let’s get back to Nate…

Nate Parker’s movie, ‘Birth of a Nation’, was written, produced and directed by him. And after he announced his initial plans to make this film, the first person to invest in it, was retired basketball player Michael Finley. Mind you, Mike also invested in the film, ‘The Butler’. Now that fact alone, should let you know what kind of ulterior motives are behind this film’s mainstreamed distribution.

Also, after this movie was made and had its debut at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival, on January 25^th of this year, it was reported that before the movie was shown, the viewing audience gave Nate a standing ovation when he was introduced to speak about his film (hint, hint). Additionally, following the film’s screening, ‘The Weinstein Company’, ‘Sony Pictures Entertainment’, and ‘Netflix’ created a bidding war for this film. Finally, Fox Searchlight bought worldwide rights to this film for $17.5 million dollars, which stands as the ‘richest acquisition deal’ in Sundance’s history.

Okay, let’s stop here.

Now, ask yourself this question: Why would these elitist, lily-white movie studios, create a bidding war over a film about Nat Turner killing scores of white folks?

And finally, let’s ask the question posed at the top of this post: What do Nate Parker and Freddy Krueger really have in common?

Welp, to find out, let’s flip the script and answer the second question first…

What Nate and Fred Krueger have in common is this…they both starred in horror films.

Now, you may be sayin’, bruh…that don’t make no kinda’ sense. Nate was never in no horror flick. But it makes absolute sense if you realize one truth, and that is…

america’s Black ‘slave movies’ are the new horror films.

But before you dismiss my categorization of flicks like, ’12 Years a Slave’ and ‘Django Unchained’ as the new horror films for this generation, let’s take a look at some old ones, so we can compare and contrast methods of white fascist social engineering, as it pertains to the Black american psyche.

The Shining (1980), The Evil Dead (1981), Halloween II (1981), A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984), Re-Animator (1985), The Return of The Living Dead (1985), and Hellraiser (1987).

When I was a teenager, these were just a few of the horror films that were as popular then, as super-hero movies are now. It seemed like every month, there was a new grisly 'slasher' flick with some maladjusted and/or formerly slighted soul who had super-human powers and decided to use them to get some payback on humanity. And in the last couple of years, I was thinking back to when I frequented my local Cineplex to watch these gore-fests with friends. That’s when I asked myself this question: In the context of white fascism, what purpose did these films serve?

And then, the answer hit me…

white fascists used these films to not only desensitize a younger audience/generation to steroidal amounts of gratuitous violence, but fascists knew that repeated viewings of these flicks, would make audiences almost completely indifferent to other people’s suffering. Thus, these movies would make us more ‘individualistic’. And a person/population that’s mostly self-involved, is easier for white fascists to control.

On top of that, we need to remember that america is the enforcement arm of the western powers. Meaning, we’re the designated trigger-persons for the white fascist agenda. And that’s even more of a reason for white fascists to desensitize us to violence. Cause a country of men who’ve been conditioned to be indifferent to the suffering of others, can be more easily sent abroad to kill whoever we’ve been told is our enemy.

Now, with all that said, let me tell you why these slasher films were specifically aimed at programming the Black american psyche.

I think every Black man and woman has heard the African proverb, ‘It takes a village to raise a child’. Well, this is indicative of Black people’s inherent communal sensibilities. Meaning, instinctively, Black people think more about the collective, than the individual. Mind you, we do this instinctively, if we haven’t been conditioned out of melanated common senses. So in order for white fascists to keep us in perpetual states of disunity, we were fed study diets of horror films so we’d continuously focus on ourselves and not care about the suffering(s) of our community (common-unity).

Mind you, in the 80’s, Black americans were also facing the dreaded troika of ‘Reganomics’, ‘crack’ and ‘AIDS’. Meaning, in that decade, more than most, Black americans were facing an all-out assault on our senses.

Now, let me expound on how all this plays out in america’s ‘slave movies’, and especially, in ‘Birth of a Nation’.

But before I do that, let me make another fact emphatically clear…I haven’t seen this movie, and I won’t go see it. So my opinions of this flick are coming from others who have. Meaning, it’s up to you to decide whether or not you wanna’ make the sojourn to see this film. Cause the only thing I’m endeavoring to do here, is let you know why you should guard your mind if you do decide to take that trip to the Cineplex. But what I will absolutely advise is this: If you’re a mature Black man or woman reading this post, PLEASE DO NOT take a Black child to go see this film. Here’s why…

First off, reports I get from people who saw this film, say they endured an hour and a half of watching Black men, women and children, being tortured by whites, before any Black slave revolted. And truthfully, this is the ‘bait and switch’ technique employed by white fascist freemasons, like Nate Parker, on our people, time and time again. Meaning, before we have a chance to see any redemption or revenge our people exacted through fighting for freedom, the mental triggers activated by watching the gruesome tortures of Black people have already done their job. In other words, as a Black man or woman watching this film, your subconscious has already been severely impacted by these horrific scenes, and what they do is reinforce reasons why you should hate yourself and everyone who looks like you for being Black. And this is the true agenda of ‘Birth of a Nation’. Whether it be the original movie, or Nate Parker’s version.

Mind you, the original ‘Birth of a Nation’, was a propaganda film/tool used to extol the virtues of the KKK. And its main message was how Black people would destroy the united states once we were released from the bonds of america’s slavery. So in keeping with this theme, Nate’s movie was created to keep Black americans in perpetual states of self-hatred, so we'd be bound in a mental slavery.

The other side of the game white fascists are runnin’ on us with this flick involves its christian mores. Ya’ see, Nat Turner was taught to read specifically so he could preach bible verses to fellow Black slaves. And this film tries to impart the message that the bible is what provoked him to revolt.

But let’s see what the bible really says about slavery, so we can understand why it had nothing to do with Nat’s righteous indignation.

Ephesians 6:5
Slaves, you must obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey christ. 

Now, doesn't this run counter to the first of the ten commandments saying, I am the lord your god, you shall not worship any gods before me? Here, the bible says you should respect and obey earthly masters just like they were 'christ'.

Moreover, why would 'god' endorse anything to do with slavery? And why would the 'good book' endorse it?

Slaves of christ?!

Again, why is the 'good book' promoting slavery?

One side note: the first slave ship to wash up on american shores with Black people on it, was called the 'good ship jesus'...google it if you don't believe me.

Ephesians 6:7:
Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people.

Serve a slave master like you were serving the 'lord' and not (just regular) people? 

And if you’re a Black man or woman reading this, you should also know the reason suicide was made a sin by the christian church, is so america’s Black slaves wouldn’t kill themselves, so they could be worked to death.

So, every Black man and woman reading this should understand that it wasn’t the bible that gave Nat his revolutionary insight, it was his Black spirituality, masculinity, and common sense, that got him to cut ole’ Massa’s head off.

Now, with all that said, hopefully you can decide whether or not you wanna’ buy a ticket to see this crap film. 

And in closing let me say, as of late, Birth of a Nation is reportedly doing poorly at the box office. So the white media says. But if you peep the game being played on Black americans, you’ll realize that white fascists are making this known, regardless of this film’s real box office numbers, so more Black people will feel obligated to go see and support this trash flick.

Always remember, the most powerful tool you have to combat the social engineering inherent in every white fascist social order is your melanated DISCERNMENT. And with it, you’ll realize that the ONLY force powerful enough to defeat white fascism isn’t our money, or an education…IT’S OUR UNITY!!

And with his horror flick, Birth of a Nation, that’s exactly what Nate Parker is trying to keep us out of.

The gospel of white fascism (Part 3)...Black reparations and bailout politics...

About two years ago, I was speaking to a brotha who was a semi-devout muslim. I don't know if he came to that faith through the 'Nation of Islam', but he touted the tenets of his religion pretty regularly. When I told him I was a Black Nationalist one day, he seemed pretty impressed with the idea of Black men putting aside their differences so they can work together to build something for our Diaspora.

I basically told him that we could have three Black men in any one room, and one could be christian, another could be muslim, and the third could be jewish, but ultimately, we were all gonna' catch hell 'cause we're Black, not because of our religious affiliations. And I could tell by his response, that no one ever posed this concept to him before.

About two weeks later, this brotha and I were rappin' on something socio-political, and the topic of Black reparations came up. In the midst of our conversation, this brotha said emphatically, that Black people shouldn't get reparations 'cause all we'll do is buy a bunch of gold chains with the money. Needless to say, I shook my head at his theory...then I reminded myself about the two-sided nature of our Diaspora's white fascist induced self-hatred.

Whenever someone, especially a person of color, talks about white fascism or the 'white privilege' in a negative way, I'm usually impressed by their conscious insights. But right afterwards, I have to ask myself a mandatory question, and thats: What is this person thinking 'subconsciously'?

I can't tell you how many 'conscious' brothas and sistas I've encountered who were, and are, complete anglophiles 'subconsciously'. AND THEY DON'T KNOW IT!!

For all their facts about Kush and Kemet, and knowledge of the 'Medu Netcher', and their wearing of dashikis and Ankhs, they ultimately still feel inferior to white folks...just like the muslim brotha who told me we shouldn't get reparations.

And right after this brotha said that, I immediately started thinking about another form of 'financial reparations' I'd read about.

The 'Troubled Asset Relief Program', better known as 'TARP', was signed into law by president George W. Bush on October 3rd, 2008. This was basically the Initiative that bailed out american banks after they bundled together pools of toxic loans that were 'Triple A' rated by agencies like 'Moodys' and 'Standard & Poor's' (if you've never heard of these organizations, google them).

Mind you, other organizations like the 'Securities and Exchange Commission' and the 'Commodity Futures Trading Commission' were suppose to regulate these financial markets. Problem was, lobbyists had long since greased the palms of these organization's executives and almost every politician, so damn near every one of them fiddled while Rome burned.

Now, if you're over thirty, chances are you remember the financial crisis of 2008. And long story short, when the crisis hit, Wall Street got bailed out, and Main Street didn't. Even though it was Main Street's tax dollars that bailed these bastards out. But that's american democracy for ya'...or like the legendary singer 'Femi Kuti' (son of Fela) terms it, 'demo-crazy'.

Now after billions in bailout funds were dispersed, you'd think bank executives would be exceptionally frugal with those monies. But if you did, you'd be wrong.

Case in point, 'Northern Trust Corporation', a Chicago based bank, received $1.6 billion dollars of TARP funds from this government. And with it, they threw a golf party for their clients and employees.

You heard right, this bank used taxpayer money to fund the 'PGA Tour's Northern Trust Open' at the 'Riveria Country Club' in suburban Los Angeles. This event included lavish dinners and concerts for clients and employees who attended the week-long shin-dig. Mind you, this was a bank that stated it 'needed' their bail-out money or it would go out of business.

In 2009, Bank of America (BOA), who also received billions of dollars in TARP funds, threw an NFL 'SuperBowl' party called the 'NFL experience'. This entailed 850,000 square feet of sports games and interactive entertainment attractions for BOA's execs and employees, as well as football fans. NFL executives said it was a "multi-million dollar" event, and one SuperBowl 'insider' said the party's tents alone cost over $800,000.

In the same year, Morgan Stanley, the bank that took $10 billion dollars of TARP funds, held a three day conference/party for clients at the 'Breakers', a five-star oceanfront resort in Palm Beach, Florida.

These 'bank parties' were becoming such a regular occurrence, that Senator John Kerry, who's Secretary of State now, responded to them by introducing the 'TARP Taxpayer Protection and Corporate Responsibility Act'. The legislation would make it illegal for companies that receive TARP funds to host parties or other entertainment events during the year they received the assistance, and in the following year as well.

Now, execs from every bank said these 'parties' were annual events they hosted before they got any bailout money. Then they rationalized that these parties were 'marketing initiatives' to attract new clients and retain existing ones.

So my question is this: If these banks were financially stable enough to host these multimillion dollar events annually, why'd they take the TARP funds?

And ultimately, the point I'm making is this: white people DO NOT have the moral high-ground on ANY ETHICAL ISSUE...NOT ONE! And mind you, I said white people 'collectively', I'm not talking about individual cases.

Now, I'll never forget an episode of 'Oprah' I watched where Doctor Oz said that spanish-americans had a higher incidence of diabetes than African-americans. Oprah donned a shocked look on her face, and said, “Higher than Black people?”

Oprah simply couldn't believe we didn't represent the worst case scenario in that statistic. And this says, she'll always believe that we'll represent the worst case scenarios in all negative stats. And this speaks to a trait I see in almost every Black person whether they have a G.E.D. or a PHD. And that's the fact that nearly all of us, consciously or subconsciously, feel that hating our people is a prerequisite for upwardly-mobile, or socially-acceptable Black people. Just like the muslim brotha who felt we shouldn't get reparations.

So how do we get outta' this mind-set?

As of late, readers of this Blog have asked me for a more comprehensive, or definitive solution to the problem of our people's white fascist-induced self-hatred.

Now I'm not gonna' say I have 'the' solution to this problem, but I do have 'a' viable one to offer, or suggest. And it's two-fold.

First off, dealing with the conscious mind's role in this solution, if Black men and women can see how white fascists have conditioned us more than any other kind of person on the planet to hate ourselves, 'cause we have the most genetic power to breed them out of existence, then we can begin the process of looking at ourselves and each other with more loving and forgiving eyes.

And I know that sounds incredibly glib and corny, and I know I've said this a million times, but if you can not connect EVERY dysfunction exhibited in the Black community to how white fascists have taught us to hate ourselves more than anyone else, then you'll never get out of hating Black people collectively or individually...period.

And again, like I've stated so many times, the reason the american educational system teaches us that only Black people were slaves, is so we can hate ourselves more than anyone else. They'll never tell us that the very word 'slave' comes from the white 'Slavs', or 'Slavic' people. Or how Yugo'Slavia' had so many white slaves, that they named the country after them.

Now, it's mandatory that you're able to grasp this first step. Because if you can't, not only will you always be stuck in a self-hating mind-state as a Black man or woman, but you'll never be able to get to the second step.

And that step is reconditioning the subconscious.

So what I'll do is detail how I've gone about that process for my first post of the New Year.

Until then, consider if this first step is 'doable' for you. 'Cause if it's not, I gather you can figure out how you'll feel about Black people, and ultimately yourself, from this day forward.

The gospel of white fascism (Part 2)...Why america will never have a universal health care system...

The 'Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act' was signed into law by president Barack Obama on March 23^rd, 2010. And this was and is an initiative to help americans gain access to affordable healthcare in their individual states.

Now, being that this law was backed by president Barack Obama, covert and overt white bigots worked overtime to dismiss and dismantle its credibility, even though it could and has helped a lot of working class whites.

I remember watching an episode of Sean Hannity's show on Fox/Fix news, where he had on three white couples who said that thanks to 'Obamacare', they no longer had health insurance.

But when an MSNBC journalist fact-checked their stories, here's what they found...

white couple number one, had a white man saying 'Obamacare' was destroying his construction business, and he'd fired four employees behind adopting it. Turns out, the man had less than 40 employees, and 'Obamacare' doesn't affect businesses with less than 49 employees. Now, this wicked whiteboi may have been firing employees, but it wasn't due to 'Obamacare'.

Another of these couple's genetically recessive white women, said her healthcare plan was 'terminated' due to 'Obamacare'. Turns out, this white woman's 'Blue Cross' plan was canceled because they were overcharging her; and under the 'Obamacare' initiatives, she could now pay less for a plan that covers everything she had under Blue Cross.

And finally, the third genetically challenged couple, said their healthcare plan was also canceled and they'd have to pay a 75% increase for one under 'Obamacare'. Turns out again, that the couple could get a plan that covers everything their old plan covered for less money under the 'Obamacare exchange'. The reason they didn't know about this plan is because they flat-out refused to look at the Affordable Care Act's website. Simply because it's backed by a Black president.

And isn't it funny how scores of these same white people were literally going bankrupt trying to pay off medical bills under Bush Jr.'s administration, but no 'Teabagger', or no huge swath of white folks, seemed to have a problem with this. Bush Jr. didn't receive a third of the backlash that Obama got behind his healthcare initiatives; but being that Obama's Black, even though his initiatives would save them money, they've still got a problem. And speaking of Bush Jr., could you imagine what would've happened to Obama if the terrorist act the white media called '9/11' and a financial crisis happened under his watch?

And if you're a Black man or woman looking at this, and you're wondering why Obama's not 'down' for his people, let me remind you of one fact...

John Fitzgerald Kennedy, better known as 'JFK', was assassinated on November 23^rd, 1963. And in more layman's terms, they damn near blew this man's head off in front of his wife. Now, this was a white president that white fascists liked. That is, they liked him until he didn't fully comply with their agenda to fight a war in Vietnam.

Now, if white fascists would nearly blow the head off one of their own kind, could you imagine what they'd do to Obama if he was really down for us? I mean, for real down for us. They'd have killed him a long time ago.

So what Obama can offer us, is initiatives like the Affordable Healthcare Act, but more importantly, what Obama is giving us is the only thing he really can in this white fascist social order...and that's HOPE. The only other thing Obama can really do for us, is be a symbol of what's possible for our people under the tyrannies of white fascism. Now, if you're saying, is that all he can do? I need you to remember, symbols are very important...just ask a white freemason.

Under the Obama administration, a young Black man can look at him and be inspired to be anything he wants within the confines of white fascism. Now, if our Diaspora wants true freedom and liberation, then we're gonna' have to form our own nation-state either outside, or inside, (preferably outside) this one, to wield any kind of true power.

I'm a 'realist', so I'm keepin' it real...

Moving on...

But in spite of the Obama Healthcare initiatives, for the majority of americans, especially the ones not covered for healthcare benefits by their employers, there's still an out-of-pocket expense for the majority of our medical procedures. But in the overwhelming majority of the other countries of the 'developed' world, complete healthcare coverage is a right, not a privilege. Meaning, most of the developed world's countries have adopted a 'universal' healthcare system. And under these systems, 100% healthcare coverage is literally a birthright for all its citizens.

Now, the taxes we pay, or should I say, that working class and poor americans pay, would more than cover the cost of any aggregate medical procedures this country's citizens would need in a lifetime. So the question stands: why doesn't america adopt a universal healthcare system? For years I've wondered why america seemed to be the only hold-out for this kind of medical paradigm in the 'developed' world; but in the last few years, I finally figured out why...

On August 6^th, 1964, the american government dropped an atom bomb on the city of Hiroshima, Japan.

And on August 9^th, 1964, the american government dropped an atom bomb on the city of Nagasaki, Japan.

And to this day, america represents the only country that used a nuclear weapon...twice. So this in essence, put the world on notice that america was officially, the baddest bully on the global block. Or to put it in even more layman's terms, america's been slated to be the 'enforcer' for the western powers.

Now, I remember the actor Johnny Depp said of america, that this country was like, “...a big, dumb puppy.” So I'm gonna' piggyback on his analogy...but I'll flip it a different way. I'll liken america to a muscular Pit bull that's been bred for fighting.

Now, if you're the owner of a prizefighting Pit bull, do you think you'd spend unlimited amounts of money on etiquette classes for your dog? Or would you have it drinking the purest, most expensive waters and eating gourmet foods? And do you think you'd have it living in plush, opulent housing?

Of course not.

You'd make sure this dog never saw any kind of etiquette class; you'd give it the worst foods to eat, matter of fact, you'd probably put gun-powder in its food to make it more irritable, and you'd keep this dog living in complete squalor. Also, you'd make sure the dog's decrepit living conditions were embedded in an environment that was tension-filled, so that dog would always be ready to fight. And these are the kinds of conditions the overwhelming majority of working class and poor americans are kept in.

Now you might be thinking, c'mon bruh, you're grossly exaggerating what the living conditions of the average american look like. If you think so, then let's do another comparative analysis of this Pit bull's life, and the life of the average poor or working class person in america.

Let's talk first about the state of public education in america. The average american classroom for a child from a poor or working family is usually comprised of 40 to 50 kids and one underpaid teacher. And in most cases, this teacher is both poorly trained and/or indifferent to whether these kids learn or not; and this doesn't take into account how overwhelmed this person might feel with the task of teaching so many children. And these facts result in stats like this: according to a study done by the 'Huffington Post', 32 million adults in america can't read. That's 14% of this country's population. 21% of american adults read below the fifth grade level, and 19% of high school graduates are illiterate. Mind you, this is america we're talking about, not Calcutta, India.

Now you might be saying, these stats only pertain to people who can't pay for their children's schooling.

Okay, so let's talk about the type of schooling almost every person will have to pay for, a college education.

Now, when I did some research on collegiate education costs here and abroad, this is what I found...

According to the 'Eurydice database', and Eurydice is an international education database developed by the European Commission and Member States of the European Union; the cost for a public college's bachelors degree program in Paris, France is 188.10 Euros per year. And in american dollars, this comes out to $199.68 PER YEAR! 

Now, Second cycle or masters degree programs in Paris, France cost 259.10 Euros per year; which comes out to $275.05 dollars; and Third cycle degrees or PHD/doctorate programs cost 393.10 Euros per year, or $417.30 dollars. And this amount was based on fees for the 2013/2014 academic year.

So let's compare this to the average cost of a public college education in america.

In its most recent survey of college pricing, the American College Board reports that a 'moderate' collegiate tuition for the 2015/2016 academic year averaged $24,061. A moderate tuition at a private college averaged $47,831.

Now as far as the american government saying they want the masses of their citizens to have a college education is concerned, these numbers speak for themselves.

Now, let's talk about this Pit bull's diet, and the diet of the average american citizen. Before I make any comments on this, I'd like to say that ultimately, a person's diet is comprised of foods that they themselves choose to eat. But what I wanna' comment more on here, are food ingredients that the average american doesn't have direct control over putting into their diet. For instance, the average american would be hard-pressed to go to their cupboards or refrigerator and find one or two items that didn't have high fructose corn syrup in them.

Conversely, high fructose corn syrup is under such tight restrictions in europe, that it's nearly banned in their country.

And what are some of the most common side effects of ingesting large amounts of high fructose corn syrup? Obesity, Diabetes, an increaesed risk of heart attack and disease, anemia, poor immunity, etc. 

Now, as far as the Pit bull living in a 'tension-filled' environment as compared to the average american citizen is concerned, to see this, all you'd have to do is look at the amount of deadly weapons americans are in possession of. Overall, the u.s. has the highest gun ownership rate in the world according to the 'Washington Post'; and the u.s. also has the highest homicide-by-firearm rate among the world’s most developed nations. Roughly 67.5 percent of homicides in the U.S. are committed using guns, accounting for 9,960 total homicides by them.

And I won't even talk about the amounts of ethnic strife, or what whitey calls 'racism' there is in this country. I don't use the word 'racism' 'cause there's only one 'race', that's the human race...what white media's really referring to in these instances is 'ethnicity'. But when you see white thrill-kill cops shooting down young Black men every other day, and how we're called crazy when our Diaspora protest or revolt against this, you'll quickly see how invested this government is in keeping it's citizens fighting amongst each other, and how this contributes to keeping working class and poor americans pugnacious and battle-ready...just like the prizefighting Pit bull.

Now, the other analogy I'll draw is one between america's hostile state of being, and the state of Black americans who are kept in a white fascist induced self-hatred. And again, Black people are kept hating themselves more than any other kind of person, cause we have the most genetic power to breed whitey out of existence.

In regards to this, I'll tell every Black man and woman that the last place you're gonna' find out the truth about america, is in america. You have to come up out of it, at least mentally, to get an objective view of what's really going on in this country. The same goes for our Diaspora's white fascist induced self-hatred, meaning the last place you're gonna' find out the truth about this self-hatred, is in that self-hatred...you have to come up out of it mentally, to be able to look at it objectively, so you can ultimately get rid of it.

Now, if you're a Black man or woman reading this who doesn't endeavor to do that, I hope you understand that you'll ultimately be consumed by this self-hatred, and as a result, you'll be kept despising yourself and everyone who looks like you 'til the day you die.

'Cause the goal of white fascism is to destroy Black people, thus completely destroying the Black 'nuclear' family.

Furthermore, I want every Black man and woman reading this to understand that there's nothing natural about Black men and women hating each other.

EVERYTHING about that dysfunction, and every other dysfunction displayed in the Black community, has its roots in how white fascists conditioned us to hate ourselves.

So like I keep saying, and will continue to say, we got work to do.

Now, if you truly want to change, there's myriad techniques to employ that will help us do this at the subconscious level, but if you're not ready to go there, it's imperative that you at least grasp the above concept. 'Cause if you can do that, as a Black man or woman, you can begin to see yourself and every member of the opposite sex with a more empathetic and loving eye.

Now, I'm not saying you'll get along with every Black person you meet, that's impossible, but you individually getting up out of your conditioned self-hatred is the fastest way for us to save the Black family.

And in that endeavor, there's not a moment to spare.

Gentrification and the Black Diaspora (Part 3)...Why don't Black people buy abandoned properties in their neighborhoods?

About two years ago, I was having a conversation with a brotha who let me know he was a freemason.

Well, let me clarify this statement. The brotha asked me, “Are you are traveling man?” This is how freemasons identify themselves in casual conversations. Now, the reason the brotha broached this question to me, is during the course of our discussion, I started waxing philosophic on a couple of political issues; and I guess the brotha was impressed enough to let me know who he really was.

Anyway, during our talk, we spoke on which cities we were born in. He said he was born and raised in D.C. Then he began telling me how he had a chance to buy one of the 'row-houses' in his old neighborhood, but he passed it up. He then told me, post-gentrification, how that row-house is literally worth a million dollars. Then he quoted a line he was famous for, saying Black people 'don't think' about these types of issues, until it's too late.

I also remember a couple of times where the Black male blogger who inspired me to write this Blog, said in regards to the gentrification of our neighborhoods, that we Black folks 'screwed up' our chances to buy abandoned properties in our communities. He then went on to say, that our being bought out of our residences was essentially our fault.

And a video I saw of a Black man named 'Javonne M. Clark', had him sharing an anecdote about how some mexicans bought an abandoned property next to his, and how they 'rebuilt' the house seemingly overnight. Javonne said the property had been abandoned for years...then he started crying. Now, people commenting on this vid wondered why he was bawling. They waxed philosophic on his possibly having emotional problems or baggage leading him to be that emotional. But I knew Javonne was envious over the amount of unity he saw displayed in these spanish people, and he wondered why our people didn't have that same kind of unity. And seeing this vid, more than anything, is why I'm writing this post.

Also, just a couple of days ago, another brotha I spoke to, said that in regards to our being pushed out of our neighborhoods, that if the situation gets too dire, educated Black folks would intervene and basically save us.

Now, before I discuss anything psychological, let me bring up a socio-political fact.

In an analysis of every home purchase loan application processed in 2011 and 2012 in the states of Virginia and Maryland; 300,00 filings by banks and other lending institutions under the 'Home Mortgage Disclosure Act' found that African-americans were twice as likely than whites to be denied a home mortgage loan.

Now, you're probably thinking, well, there's gotta' be differentiating credit scores, income, educational achievements, etc. to consider between these whites and their Black counter-parts. Well, if those are your thoughts, then check out what else this study found...

Among Virginia home loan applicants, both Black and white, with incomes between $100,000 and $125,000 and similar credit scores, the denial rates were more than 15 percent for African-americans and 7 percent for whites.

For applicants with the same income bracket and credit scores in the Richmond metro area, the denial rates were more than 14 percent for Blacks and less than 5 percent for whites.

For Virginians making $75,000 to $100,000 a year, the denial rates were 19 percent for African-americans and 9 percent for caucasians.

In Maryland, among loan applicants with incomes between $50,000 and $75,000, the denial rates were 23 percent for African-americans and 10 percent for whites.

Among Maryland loan applicants making $100,000 to $125,000, the denial rates were 19 percent for Blacks and 7 percent for caucasians.

So right outta' the gate, if you wanna' purchase a home mortgage, or invest in some abandoned properties in your neighborhood, if you're Black, the chips are stacked against you. Now, if you're a Black man or woman reading this, I'm not trying to dissuade you from buying a home, I'm just letting you know what the real deal is with the majority of the bankers and brokers you'll be talking to. Forewarned is forearmed. But more than this, I wanna' answer the question of what might be stopping Black people en masse from purchasing vacant properties in the 'hood.

With that said, the bigger, or biggest hurdle to our purchasing these properties, starts with what Black men and women learn in the american educational system. Now let me explain what I'm talkin' about...

If you've been looking at this Blog for a hot minute, you know I talk, ad nauseam sometimes, about what transpires in the american educational system apropos to Black americans.

With that said, let me just blurt out the fact that within the confines of the american educational system, Black men and women are conditioned to hate themselves more than any other type of person on the planet, because we have the most genetic power to breed our oppressors, i.e. white people, out of existence.

This is why we get taught that our ancestors were slaves, while no other ethnic group does, and why the 'cross-hairs' of white fascism are on our backs, literally, more than anyone else.

Now, you might be thinking, so what's that gotta' do with reasons why our people don't buy up vacant properties in our communities? Here's the answer: if you as a Black person are taught that EVERYTHING to do with you and your people is worthless...then why the hell would you invest any money in a community full of your people?

I'm a 'realist', so I'm gonna' keep it all the way real; if the average Black person living in an impoverished area gets some money, the last thing they're gonna' think about is buying some property in that community. The first thing they're gonna' think about doing, is getting the hell out of the 'hood. And even if they're not living in an impoverished Black community, they'd never think about buying up properties in an impoverished Black neighborhood, 'cause again, they've been taught by white fascists that anything to do with their people and these areas are worthless.

That's until whites, or some other type of non-Black persons, start buying up these properties. Then, the average Black person will say, Oh, now I see the worth in these structures.

And that's what I relayed to the brotha who was a freemason. That the reason he didn't jump at buying that 'row-house' was because he'd been conditioned to believe his people, his neighborhood, and ultimately he himself, was worthless in comparison to white and non-Black folks. Of course I used different words, but that's the message I imparted to him. And this is what I'd relay to Javonne M. Clark about why our people don't have the same type of unity that he saw displayed in the actions of those mexicans. And let me add, if you don't know what's been done to our people, in regards to america's white fascist social order conditioning us to hate ourselves more than anyone else, you as a Black person will be doomed to hating yourself and everyone who looks like you 'til the day you die. And this is the truest goal of white fascism in regards to our Diaspora.

Now, in regards to another brotha telling me that educated Black folks would essentially save us if this wave of gentrification got too dire; I'd like to tell you about an impoverished Black neighborhood and what happened when an educated Black person became its mayor.

Cory Booker became the mayor of Newark, New Jersey in 2006. Shortly thereafter, he introduced several initiatives to both reduce crime and get more jobs for Newarkers who needed them.

In 2007 Cory approved funding to build the 'Prudential Center', a massive entertainment arena, in Newark. As a result, a Hilton Hotel was built right next to it. A short time later, a Starbucks was built close to both these structures. This automatically tripled rents around that area, and almost overnight what was once a predominately poor/working class Black neighborhood,
became an exclusive community for white 'yuppies'. Point being, that it's the educated token negroes, like Cory Booker, who not only won't save us, but who are actually perpetrating this wave of gentrification against us.

And you can witness the same thing happening in every major city in this country (Jay-Z and Brooklyn, New York's 'Barclays Center').

So what's the solution?

First, I think our biggest salvation lies in our young people, if for no other reason than they're showing us they're not afraid to revolt against white fascism (Ferguson, Missouri/Baltimore, Maryland). Second, we older Black folks need to provide them with an educational system that teaches them reading, writing and 'rithmatic, without the self-hating messages given to them in the american educational system. This is why I'm such an advocate of building a Black Nationalist 'Home-schooling' system. We may not be able to get the results we want out of whitey's P.S. whatever school, but what we can have more control over is our own home-schooling 'co-operatives' that teach our children the greatness of our history, and our contemporary culture(s).

Our children minus the american educational system's agenda of teaching them to hate themselves, equals a generation of Black folks that will have infinitely less problems uniting and working with each other.

Now, you may say, I don't have time to do start one of these organizations, I understand that too...and what we can do in that case is donate our time and money to an existing one. Whatever you can contribute to one of these co-operatives will not go in vain, even if it's a couple of notebooks for our children. Myself and some brothas have contributed both money and time to one of these local organizations, and trust me, what we've gotten back in terms of watching these kids flourish and grow in a truly loving and nurturing learning environment, is beyond satisfying.

So now that we've identified the problem and the solution, the only thing left to do is to get to work. And the sooner, the better. 'Cause if you're a Black man or woman reading this and one day you see a Starbucks being built in your neighborhood, I hope you know what, or who's coming right after.

The gospel of white supremacy (Part 11)...why are asians smarter and harder working than Black people?

I'll never forget how one day in my 9^th grade english class, our white english instructor, decided he would reveal the scores of a test we'd taken a couple of days previously. Now, this imbecilic inbred chose to announce out loud to each of us, whether we passed or failed. Mind you, the overwhelming majority of my class was comprised of young Black men and women.

Long story short, no one passed but this one fair-skinned asian girl. And the white instructor, I can't really call that neo-liberal bigot a teacher, used this example to extol and reinforce the stereotype of the smart and hard-working, asian person. And this was yet another way I was indoctrinated into reasons why I should hate myself and everyone who looked like me for being Black.

I also remember recently, how I was talking to a mature Black person and we started discussing a subject pertaining to asian culture. This Black person was at a loss for words at one point, and just blurted out: “...well, they're just brilliant.”

So, I'd like to expound on some reasons why Black people especially, have been made to revere asians, especially fair-skinned ones, over ourselves.

Firstly, my ninth grade english instructor didn't realize that the reason(s) the fair-skinned asian girl did better on the test, and might do better in the american educational system period, is because nothing in its curriculum is teaching her to hate herself and everyone who looks like her. Whereas, damn near EVERYTHING, especially in 'his-story' class, is engineered to make Black people hate themselves.

Don't believe me? Then answer this question honestly: can you name one other ethnic group, besides Black people, that get taught their ancestors were slaves? 

I didn't think so.

And the reason for this is, once again, Black men and women have the most genetic power to breed whites out of existence. Thus, white fascists must, at all costs, keep Black men and women apart by anchoring our minds in perpetual cycles of self-hatred. And now, being that white people are at a zero population growth globally, they have to make sure we don't have any more pure-bred, or pure-bred 'looking' Black children, who'd have the same potential to breed them out of existence that we do.

And in regards to 'slavery', the very word 'slave' comes from the white 'Slavic' people or 'Slavs'. And once again I'll mention, how there were so many white slaves in 'YugoSLAVIA', that the country was named after them.

So let's take a look at some other factors that might contribute to the accelerated upward-mobility of asians, especially fair-skinned ones.

The u.s. government ordered the removal of japanese-americans after the bombing of Pearl Harbor in 1942. Now, under this decree, more than 110,000 fair-skinned asians were rounded up and put into concentration camps for a period of four years.

Fast forward to 1988. President Ronald Reagan, the actor, signed into law the 'Civil Liberties Act' which apologized for their internment on behalf of the u.s. government and authorized a payment of $20,000 to each individual camp survivor. Fair-skinned asians in this country received approximately $1.6 billion dollars in reparations...yep, that's billion with a 'b'. 

So consider this the next time you wonder why there's an asian-owned restaurant or grocery store on every corner of your neighborhood...especially if you're a Black man or woman.

But I guess that's something my ninth grade english instructor forgot to tell us, while he was making this fair-skinned asian girl look so much smarter and hard-working than the us lazy negroes.

Now, Black men and women were enslaved for how many years in this country? And not only haven't we seen a dime in reparations, but we didn't even get the '40 acres and a mule' provisions we'd been promised. 

And beyond these facts, when Black people did build up thriving economies after the turn of the twentieth century, especially in places like the 'Black Wall Street' in Tulsa, Oklahoma; this government not only did everything they could to undermine our success, but they actually bombed the Black Wall Street in 1921. Mind you, several Black men were millionaires in this community because we owned planes, grocery stores, bus lines, etc. And this was decades before fair-skinned asians in this country even owned a chain of fruit stands. 

What erased our gains, was our ancestors falling for the trick of integration. This was an initiative pushed by white fascists to get our money into their pockets. And it was yet another iteration of the white fascist 'divide and conquer' methodology. And they knew it would work, if for no other reason than they conditioned us to adopt a god who looked like them (good ole' jesus christ himself). They understood we would literally risk life and limb to be closer to our 'gods'. I hope you now know why the first book these inbreds gave us to read, especially as slaves, was the christian bible.

Moving on...

So in regards to the question of why asians are so much smarter and harder working than Black people...here's the answer...

THEY'RE NOT!!

white fascists have allowed these people to partake in the white privilege because they're fair-skinned and don't have the genetic power to breed their oppressors out of existence like we do.

This is also why they can go to any bank in america, and get any kind of loan to open a buisness more readily and consistently than we can.

Don't believe me? Then consider the plight of dark-skinned asians for a sec'.

Dark-skinned asians from Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, India, etc. can also access bank loans for businesses quicker than we can, but ever since I was young, I've been hearing about the menace of swarthy dark-skinned asian terrorism. And, I've seen white armies of the western powers indiscriminately slaughter these people in their native countries at will.

Just the other day, I was in a pizza restaurant with a flat-screened TV on one of its walls. While waiting for my pie, I watched the channel this TV was set to, and saw a 'CSI' like show where the villians were portrayed as arab terrorists who kidnapped a white american hostage. I was like damn, whitey's still stuck on the stereotype of the dark-skinned asian terrorist?

Now, if you're a Black man or woman reading this, I in no way want you to feel sorry for, or have an empathy towards the plight of dark-skinned asians. For the simple reason that, once those same dark-skinned asians come to america, all they know is they love the white people who've been oppressing them for years and they hate Black people who've never done a thing to them.

I myself have had to curse several of these people out while shopping in their stores, because of their horrendous attitudes towards me and my people. And I can assure you, they hate Black people just as much, or possibly even more than white bigots do.

Now, with all this said, I'd like to pose another question. With the advantages that asians are given over Black people and with the intellect and advanced work ethic we've been conditioned to think they have, why are so many of them starving?

Like I've said before, the continent leading in rates of world hunger is asia, not Africa! 

Approximately 227 million people in Africa are living in conditions of famine, as opposed to 552 million people in asia. 

I remember watching a documentary about North Korea, where people were risking life and limb to cross the border into the south of that country, cause so many Northern Koreans were literally starving to death.

Coincidentally, asian starvation is another reason why Black people reading this should go out of their way NOT to patronize any asian restaurant(s). Because asians are so desperately hungry in their native countries, they will literally eat ANYTHING! Rats, cats, dogs...they don't discriminate.

And as a consequence, they'll serve YOU anything! Especially if you're a Black person.

But our people, even while living in abject poverty, still maintain a high level of dignity and pride. Case in point, I remember reading an article about asian investors in Africa who went to a dump-site. They saw Black people rummaging through the site's ruins and these asians pulled a piece of rotted meat off the ground. They approached one Black African at the site, and told them to eat the rotted meat so they can show their people back home how destitute Black Africans were. Then they told the native African, they'd show the footage of them eating this meat to their people, and as a result, their people would have some sort of pity and they would send them money. The impoverished native African refused, saying the meat was unfit to eat.

So, if you're a Black man or woman reading this, the next time someone tells you how brilliant one of these asians are, you can confidently tell them: THAT'S A CROCK! Or, when you see one of these asians, you can look at them, and through them, knowing that for all their purported brilliance they can barely feed themselves in their native countries.

Black people have the cross-hairs of white fascism squarely on our backs, and we still outshine these asians...AND WE ALWAYS WILL!!
