The cult of Black and white cinematic symbolism (Part 14)...The Black Panther's "Dora Milaje", Harriet Tubman's 20, and the white fascist attack on Black femininity...

To the readers of this Blog: Once again, I must apologize about the sparsity of posts here as of late. Now, sometimes life does get in the way of me facilitating and curating this space, but that's not an excuse, cause everyone's busy. Conversely, just cause I'm absent from this forum, doesn't mean I'm not thinking about it in some way, shape or form. So I do have a back-log of subjects I wanna' tackle. Now, some of my forthcoming editorials may sound dated, cause I've been away, but trust that the reason I'm committing my time to them is cause I must. I've never been one to write about frivolous topics, and I'm not about to start now.

And as always, to the people who cared enough to check back on my blog from time to time, I say thank you, thank you and thank you.

Law #5: So much depends on reputation—guard it with your life.

In 1820, Harriet Tubman was born Armanita “Minty” Ross, in Dorchester County, Maryland, to parents, Harriet “Rit” Green and Ben Ross.

 

Now, the dilemma I've run into while writing Harriet's bio is this: the more research I do on the “Transatlantic Slave Trade” in america, the more I find out that 90% of it was pure fiction. For example, several of the “slave ship” diagrams, like the one to the upper left, that supposedly illustrate how we were “transported” here from Africa, were found by Black scholars to be completely false (and you can always click on my pics to enlarge them). And I'll definitely site examples of this, in a forthcoming post I'll write on this topic.

But according to a multitude of Black scholars, there's no way these ships could hold this many people on them, while traveling across the Atlantic for months, or close to a year at a time.

So that says what?

It says that the above illustration, is JUST A PICTURE!

MEANING, IT HAS NO BASIS IN REALITY!

Well, let me rephrase that—the “slave ship” graphic is more than just a “picture”—it's a propagandized mental trigger, that's meant to keep any Black man and woman looking at it, hating themselves for being descendants of lowly, conquered slaves. It's a “Psy-op” y'all. And might I add, it's one of the most effective ever created.

And I liken this to the “Flat Earth Theory”. In so much as, what matters more than it being true of false, is white fascists knowing how much control they have over the minds of the proletariat (us). Meaning, whitey wants to know that they can give us one reality, and then switch it on a dime, to see if we'll go for it.

Also, another fact that leads me to believe that nearly all of the Black “Transatlantic Slave Trade” (TST) was bogus, is that I was never taught about the “Barbary Slave Trade” alongside it. Now, for those who don't know, the Barbary Slave Trade was one where the Black North African “Berber” tribes, enslaved some two million white people, at the same time the TST was happening. So question: why are we always taught about the TST, but never the Barbary Slave Trade?

Here's why...

If Black people, and Black children especially, knew about the Barbary Slave Trade, then we wouldn't think we were the world's only slaves. Thus, we'd be prouder and less self-hating—so we couldn't be as easily manipulated or mind-controlled.

See, the only way whitey wins over us, is by making sure we hate ourselves.

PERIOD.

And if they can do that, white fascists know we'll never UNITE—and that's the only way we're ultimately gonna' beat 'em. 

Additionally, over the course of the last decade, I've found out that we, Black people, were the world's first inhabitants on EVERY CONTINENT OF THIS EARTH! So why would we be shipped from Africa, when we were here already?

But let's get back to sista Harriet...

(white) Historians say Harriet “escaped” to Philadelphia, and then immediately returned to Maryland to “rescue” her family. And it's said that one group at a time, she brought relatives with her out of the state to “freedom”. And traveling by night on the “underground railroad”, it's said Harriet “never lost a passenger”.

Now, after the Civil War began, Harriet worked for the Union army. First as a cook and nurse, then as an armed scout and spy. It's also said that she was the first woman to lead an armed expedition in the war, when she guided the raid at “Combahee Ferry”, which is said to have freed more than 700 “slaves”. And after Harriet's death in 1913, she's become an icon of american courage and freedom.

Now, it struck me as funny that Harriet's once “illegal” slave-freeing activities, which had her labeled as public enemy #1, lead to her becoming an armed scout, spy and the first woman to lead a battle in america's Civil War. But then I noticed something in a picture featuring Harriet that kinda' showed me the advantage she might've had when and if she actually made this transition.

Meaning—Harriet Tubman was a white fascist freemason.

Now, I can already hear the jeers behind my saying this—and I can also hear people once again proclaiming, bruh—you say that about everybody. But what tipped me off was Harriet's hand gesture in the above photo. And if we do a bit of a comparison between Dr. Umar Johnson's hand gesture and Harriet's, you'll notice the same interlocked fingers and pyramid shape that both their thumbs make (And you can click on this pic to make it larger).

Now, let me also state, that my saying this about Harriet, in no way, shape or form, takes away from the noble work she's alleged to have done. Several narratives I've heard about her, say that if you didn't agree to leave with her on the “freedom” trail, she'd gun you down on the spot. That's gangsta. But I need you to also understand, that every time her name is mentioned, the first thought that comes to your mind, is Black slavery.

So, at this point, you might still be thinking, bruh—I still ain't convinced Harriet was any kinda' freemason, and I ain't gonna' be.

Okay, lemme give you one more reason I'm inclined to think Harriet was down wit' tha' freemasons.

Back in April of 2016, Obama's Treasury Secretary, Jack Lew, said Harriet would appear on the new version of america's 20 dollar bill. It was widely announced that it would be the first time that a Black woman has ever appeared on any U.S. currency. However, when Harriet's 20 was brought up a year later, Jack stated: “Ultimately, we will be looking at this issue, (but) it's not something I'm focused on at the moment.”

Now, don't get me wrong, the Harriet 20 was said to be slated for release in the year 2020—so, it might very well become a reality. But a person, renowned abolitionist or otherwise, doesn't get this kinda' recognition, unless they're connected to freemasonic networks. But let me get to the point of why they'd elect to put Harriet on america's 20 dollar bill—it's cause white fascists figure, Harriet's likeness on the bill, will get Black women to buy more consumer goods with it.

PERIOD.

And at this point, you might be thinking, what the heck does this have to do with Marvel's “Black Panther” movie and the “Dora Milaje”?

So let's get into that right quick...

Now, I can't tell you how many times I've heard Black women, on or off TV, say they love Marvel's Black Panther movie, cause the Dora Milaje (DM) represent powerfully strong and independent Black women, who are their male counterparts equal in every way. And if you're a Black woman reading this, they can serve as a great source of pride to you and your woman friends, looking at it from that perspective.

But let's examine what message white fascists are sending to the world about Black women via the DM.

At one point in the Black Panther film, the DM are referred to as “Grace Jones look-a-likes” (that's a pic of Grace to the left). Now, let's break that statement down real quick—Grace Jones was a runway model, and a (dope) musical artist, who was known for looking “hyper-masculine”. And I can remember watching a videotaped musical performance of hers, curiously titled: “Grace Jones: A One Man Show”.

Now, Grace enjoyed the height of her stardom in the 80's, and ever since then, it seems like every Black female runway model has been a clone of hers. Meaning, Black female models, (and I'm speaking strictly of ones who adorn fashion runways), are for the most part, exceptionally dark-skinned and have exceptionally short hair. One example of this would be the fashion model, Alex Wek (upper right pic).

Fast forward to 2018, and we have the lovely women of the DM who are all dark-skinned, bald-headed, and hyper-masculine sistas, who're carrying spears.

Now, I need to make one thing emphatically clear about the DM, and more specifically about Danai Gurira and Letitia Wright (right pic), and that's this: I personally think these sistas are gorgeous. They've got flawless skin, lovely physiques, and they're always ladies in public—but by european standards of beauty, these women would be considered unattractive.

And let me just repeat that, so you understand what I'm NOT SAYING. I myself, am not saying these sistas are unattractive, I'm saying by european standards of beauty, that's how they'd be perceived.

Now, the question that should pop into your mind is this: bruh, why are you concerned with european standards of beauty?

And the answer is, I'm NOT—consciously—but what am I thinking subconsciously?

Understand, since I've done the subconscious work to rid myself of european beauty standards, I can truly say I see past them, but don't get me wrong, getting (and staying) at that point involves a daily meditative practice, or else my anglophilic instincts will return. I'm referring more to the overwhelming majority of us who don't even recognize the problem at that level. I'm asking, how could that Black person, or those Black people, SUBCONSCIOUSLY, not think of these sistas as unattractive? And forget about other ethnic groups, cause you already know how they feel.

Ultimately what I'm getting at is this: the way white fascists have depicted the DM, is sending 3 very distinct messages to not only Black men, but to the world's men about Black women—and they are...

Message#3: Black women's physical aggression, means they're also sexually aggressive and insatiable.

What we see in Marvel's Black Panther movie, is the hyper-masculine looking DM physically fighting men in battle. And that coupled with what's been termed as the “Angry Black Woman Syndrome”, suggests to the world's men that Black women are too physically and verbally combative to be in long-term relationships or marriages. So white fascists are sending the message that the world's men should only look to Black women for sex, and nothing more.

Now, I can hear a multitude of Black women saying, “Well, what about Wonder Woman?” And I agree she's physically fighting men in her movie as well. But not only does Gal Godot still look like a woman, but we've been told our whole lives that the white woman is the most exquisitely feminine female on the planet (by european standards)—so they don't have the same “hyper-masculine” stereotype to contest with.

Now, I know a lot of Black women reading this will think: well, that's just this brothas opinion, it's not all that serious. And if you are, I'll direct your attention to an article former “L.A. Times” journalist, Sandy Banks wrote, pertaining to this topic.

Now, Sandy's a Black woman, who wrote an article asking why it's so hard for a “professional” Black women to find comparable mates in Black men. And the conclusion she drew was there just wasn't enough “quality” Black men to satisfy the needs of america's Black women—and she asked the public to voice their opinion on the matter. Welp, a “white middle-aged” man named Alan, wrote in with his opinion, and here's his two cents on the matter: "Any male, black or not, would be intimidated by the loud, raucous, foul-mouthed 'braying' of so many black women. They are often offensive in the extreme, obese or have a tendency to be so, and challenge the masculinity of any male."

And I'll leave a link for that particular article at the end of this post.

Message#2: Black women should always trust that a white male will be their saviors, no matter how much whitey's abused them in the past.

Now, understand that “Wakanda” is an African nation in hiding, cause they don't wanna' suffer the “ravages” of (white) colonizers. But “Shuri”, T'Challa's sister, nurses a white male “CIA agent” (Everette Ross) back to health, and the white colonizer is so grateful, that he helps Wakandans fight against other colonizing factions who are trying to overthrow their government. 

So the moral of that story is, any and every white man, up to and including a darn CIA agent, can rely on a Black woman to assist them in any and every circumstance or situation. Mind you, in real life, white missionaries would come to Black nations, or island nations, with resources like food and clothing for our people, to win over their trust, before they sent in the armed troops to overthrow their gov't. Also, white missionaries had a predilection for a particular style of sex they'd have with native women—and this is where the term “missionary position” comes from.

Now, it goes without saying that the “Disney” corporation, wouldn't put that truth on screen, so we have to be savvy enough to see that for ourselves. Thus, in accordance with history, what Shuri should have done when she had that white CIA agent on the “operating” table, was kill him. Cause in reality, a white fasicst's “soft touch” always comes before they pull out tha' machete. And finally...

Message#1: A Black woman's beauty will never equate to a white woman's.

Now, that's the bottom line to all this, in regards to why the DM are portrayed as bald-headed, spear-carrying woman warriors, who look like they wanna' be men, instead of being with one. Ultimately, both Black men and women have to be kept thinking that european standards of beauty will always trump any other kind of beauty standard, so we can always feel inferior to whites. 

And whitey does this in an effort to keep Black men and women apart, cause we have the most genetic power to breed them out of existence.

PERIOD.

Moreover, what the DM really represent is the white fascist attack on Black femininity. Now, I can hear some Black men saying, bruh—what kinda' “simptatstic” crap is that? So for brothas who think I'm just saying this to pander to a Black female demographic, lemme break this sentiment all the way down...

white fascists have a vested interest in keeping Black women in 3 perpetual states of being, and those are: well-paid, oversexed and alone. And here's why...

Because Black women have the most genetic power to breed whites out of existence, white fascists have her perpetually slated to be the world's greatest consumer—and what does that mean? Well, let's break this statement further down with a little “Q&A”...

Question: why are Black women the most overweight demographic in america?

Answer: Cause whitey understands that conditioning Black women to hate Black men, while portraying Black women as fiercely hyper-masculine, will make every kind of man think she's cold, combative and ultimately unapproachable. Thus, whitey knows that the affection(s) Black women are missing in their personal lives, will result in them seeking out solace in “consumer goods”.

Now, you might be thinking: so what the hell does that have to do with Black women being overweight? Simple—when Black women feel alone and “unloved”, whitey knows she'll compensate for that by buying more cloths, cars, jewelry, expensive trips, and ultimately, buying and consuming more food.

So “sweets” become a replacement for a lack of loving relationships.

Now, a Black woman reading this might be thinking, hold up—what kind of simple psychological B.S. is this? Everyday I see commercials endorsing white men being with Black women—so again bruh, this is just your opinion.

Okay, let's tackle that real quick...

Yes, it looks like on every commercial, or TV show that whitey's pairing Black women up with white men. And the reasons for this are, again, Black women have the most genetic power to breed whites out of existence, so the last person they want her to marry and produce children with, is a “pure-bred” Black man. But then you have to ask yourself, why would whitey go out of his way to portray Black women as hyper-masculine and unattractive?

And the answer is: so white (and non-Black men) can see Black women as sex toys (Olivia Pope) and not wives. Thus, keeping them alone. This is what I call the “white fascist fake-out”, cause one promise is offered, but what actually happens is meant to have the opposite affect. It's just like Harriet's 20 dollar bill—in so much as, when the bill was announced, Black women at that moment, felt proud to go out and spend more dollars, but when asked about the bill a year later, the former Treasury Secretary said: “...it's not something I'm focused on at the moment.”

And if the bill does come out, you'll know it's intended purpose.

So, I've said all that to say this, Black women, even though the DM look like they're representing “strong” Black females, they're actually meant to have you looking like undesirable “she-males” to the world's men.

Thus, what's ultimately gonna' save you Black woman, is your femininity, not feminism. 

Understand that your “reputation” is precious, so you should fight fiercely to protect it by understanding that no man thinks you're physically weak, so you don't have to go around proving that you're not. What you need to show men, is your more demure, quiet and soft-spoken side, and this is especially true around Black men.

Why?

Cause quiet as it's kept, the barometer of how any woman will treat other men, is how she treats her own man. Now, if she's hell-bent on being abrasive, foul-mouthed and disrespectful around her own man, then other men feel she'll be disrespectful to them. Thus, these women will be seen as a one-night stand, rather than someone who's a possible wife or life partner.

And to the Black women reading this, understand that the same white feminists who are getting you to hate Black men and everything to do with any kind of patriarchy, are the same ones who voted Donald Trump into office.

And that Black woman, should say it all.

Literally yesterday, I came across this video explaining why Angela Bassett, would make a great “Killmonger”. Yeah, you heard right—these low-life miscreants were saying that Angela Bassett would make a great MALE VILLIAN!

Now, do you think they'd have said that about Gal Godot?

Anyway, why this vid just pissed me right off, is cause Angela, in my opinion, is not only the gold-standard of actresses, but she represents the kinda' sista every Black man wants to marry. She's physically beautiful, she goes out of her way to comport herself like a lady, she's got a regal air about her and she's exceptionally gifted in her vocation. She's the whole package.

But ultimately, white fascists thought she was TOO FEMININE for a Black woman. And that's why this video was made.

The cult of Black and white Cinematic Symbolism (Part 13)...Ryan Coogler, Marvel's Black Panther, The real "Wakanda" and the (continuing) legacy of Dr. Henry T. Sampson...

Ryan Coogler was born on March 23^rd, 1986, in Oakland, California.

And coincidentally, Oakland was the same city where the Black revolutionaries who called themselves “The Black Panthers” (Dr. Huey P. Newton and Bobby Seale), got their start.

Both of Ryan's parents, mother Joselyn, and father, Ira, were graduates of California State University, Hayward. Ryan's mom was a community organizer, while his father, Ira, is a juvenile hall probation counselor. Ryan's parents moved him to Richmond, California in his pre-teens, and there, he excelled in athletics by running track and playing football in grade school. He parlayed his athleticism into a football scholarship with Saint Mary's College of California. While there, one of Ryan's English professors was so impressed with one of his writing assignments, that she suggested he take a course in screenwriting.

After Saint Mary's canceled its football program, Ryan earned a scholarship and transferred to Sacramento State College, to continue his athletic pursuits. And even though he gave a stellar performance as a football player, he made sure to take as many film classes as he could, which eventually led him to attend the USC School of Cinematic Arts.

At USC, Coogler directed four short films: the first of which was a short called, “Locks” (2009), which had a screening at NYC's, “Tribeca Film Festival” and won the “Dana and Albert Brocolli Award for Filmmaking Excellence”. Ryan followed up his first effort with other shorts, “Fig” (2011), “The Sculptor” (2011), and “Gap” (2011).

Two years later, Coogler went on to shoot his first feature-length film, “Fruitvale Station”. The movie's a true story about Oscar Grant, a young Black man who makes plans for New Years Eve of 2008, not knowing how he'll be gunned down by thrill-kill cops at the Fruitvale train station. The movie debuted in 2013 at the “Sundance Film Festival”, and took home its highest honor, the “Grand Jury Prize”. Shortly thereafter, the “Weinstein Company” acquired distribution rights for the film for $2 million dollars. The film went on to make $17 million dollars after its theatrical release, which gave Ryan the film industry cred to make his next movie, “Creed”.

In July of 2013, MGM Studios offered Ryan the Rocky “spin-off”, Creed, to direct. Ryan said he'd already had a passion for the Rocky franchise, cause his father was so enamored with the film series. And behind Ryan's father suffering a neuromuscular disorder, one that would eventually take his life, Ryan thought having a hand in creating one of these movies, would be a fitting homage to his father.

Now, I'd be remiss if I didn't say that Michael B. Jordan plays Apollo Creed's son, “Adonis” in this flick. And with names like Apollo and Adonis, you can see the blatant veneration of Greek (white) gods in this movie. And this is done not only to reinforce reasons why Black folks should think whites are “god-like”, but to make sure we heed this flick's bottom-lined message, which is: only a white man (“god” of this world), can make a young Black man a winner. Cause Apollo (who represents Black men collectively), wasn't strong enough to do the job.

Creed not only went on to gross hundreds of millions at the box office, but it was universally praised across the board by critics. One of these accolades, came when the film went on to win the “National Board of Review's” Award for the “Best or Top Ten Films of the Year”.

And piggybacking off that success, in January of 2016, Marvel Studios approached Ryan about co-writing and directing the movie, “Black Panther”.

Now, unless you're living under a rock, you're fully aware that this movie is playing at some cineplex near you—but rather than talking about the fictional elements of Ryan's film, I'd like to focus on the realistic and tangible elements associated with the Black Panther—especially in regards to “Wakanda” being the “most technologically advanced” country on earth.

So first off, let's look at the name “Wakanda” itself.

Now, the people that the american social order are calling “native” to this country, i.e. the “american indians”, aren't this country's “indigenous” people—CAUSE WE, BLACK PEOPLE ARE!

And you don't have to take my word for that. Doing five minutes worth of research, you'll find white scientists who'll confirm that at the beginnings of this world, Black people were the only ones on this earth. 

Now, it's noted that one of the first groups of indigenous Black people to inhabit the “americas”, were the “Dogon” tribes. And they're also credited with mapping the world's wind and water currents mainly for the purposes of navigational sailing. Centuries later, Black people under the leadership of the king “Abubikari” in 1311, found their way to the “americas” and mixed with another Black tribe who were already here called the “Olmecs”. Now, the name given to this mixture of indigenous tribes was “Washo”—and coincidentally, one of america's most recognized indigenous Black tribes is called the “Washitaw” Muurs (Moors).

Similarly, ancient Black “Sioux” tribes who made their way to the americas from south america, were known as the “Waka”—or “Wakan” for plural. Additionally, these tribes also used the term “Wakan”, to explain the “unseen” or “mysterious” forces of nature.

And these tribes also used the term “Da”, to define a man's role as a “father”.

So according to our indigenous Black ancestors, if you combine the terms, “Wakan” and “Da”, it translates into: the “great mysterious land of the ancient fathers”.

And that's just for starters fam! 

Now, in and of itself, that to me is very interesting, but like I said earlier, I wanna' dig into the real life elements of “Wakanda” being the most technologically advanced country on earth. 

So to find an example of this—let's look towards the African country of Nigeria.

Now, let me say straight off—in the last couple of years, Nigeria has gotten boatloads of negative press behind the terrorist organization “BOKO HARAM”, and their kidnapping of hundreds of Black Nigeria's schoolgirls.

So, being a curious type of fellow, I did a bit of research on the matter. And what I found was, according to an independent watchdog group called the “Greenwhite Coalition”, which is made up of “citizen volunteers”—the terrorist organization we know as BOKO HARAM, is actually a creation of america's CIA, used to destabilize Nigeria. And they did this with the intent of gaining more access to this country's oil supplies. And you don't have to take my word for this, go find this out yourself.

And coincidentally, Nigeria just happens to produce the most oil in all of Africa.

So it's the same ol' soup reheated fam—first america presents us with a “terrorist” organization called the “Taliban”, and years later, we find out that they too were created by the CIA, and tasked with the agenda of helping the american gov't get access to the oil supplies in southern asia, or what whitey calls the “middle east”.

But let's move on...

Now, historically, “cryptocurrencies” like “BitCoin”, “BiteCoin”, “SwiftCoin”, “PeerCoin”, etc. were introduced to america during the latter years of the new millenium (2009—today). However, Nigerians were using cryptocurrencies (especially digital banking technology) since the early 90's.

How you ask?

Well, as Mark Essien, a Nigerian tech guru said in a “Ted” talk, Africa didn't invest heavily in “land-lined” infrastructures for phone services—thus, the cellphone banking phenomenon, caught fire much sooner there, than in the majority of the world. So what Mark basically showed the “Ted” audience, and anyone listening, was how Europe especially, was “playing catch up” to this technological advancement commonly found in Africa. And I'll include the “Ted” talk featuring Mark, at the end of this post.

Now, even though I consider myself a fairly learned fellow, I was caught off guard by this. Cause my whole life, I'd been taught that Africa was this incinerated cesspool of famine and disease. So I still have to remind myself not to think of Africa in that way.

And after doing a bit more research, I found that the company “Vodacom” basically dominates Nigeria's digital banking industry. I also found that the Managing Director of “Vodacom Business Nigeria”, is a brotha named “Lanre Kolade”.

But alas, when I looked up the CEO's of the whole of Vodacom's company (Vodacom was created in South Africa), I found a man named Mohamed Shameel Aziz Joshub, who looks to be a dark-skinned asian, running the show. And the current CFO of this company, is a man named Till Streichert, who looks white.

That's when the names of two of my heros, popped into my head.

Several years ago, I wrote a post about Dr. Henry T. Sampson. He's the nuclear engineering brotha, that created the “Gamma Electric Cell”, which is where we get the term “cellphone” from. And understand, this device isn't only responsible for making your cellphone work, but it's makes mobile internet service possible, and, it's in every tablet and laptop computer—just like the one I'm using to write this post. And a Black man created it.

So the credit for the cellphone's very creation, goes to us.

Then I thought about Dr. Phil Emeagwali, who created what we now know as the “internet”, with his nature-based technology systems. Not only that, but in 1989, Dr. Phil won the “Gordon-Bell” prize for building the world's fastest computer—the world's fastest. And guess where Dr. Phil's from fam?

Nigeria.

So please understand, when you watch the Black Panther movie, know that “Wakanda's”, or “Black people's” technological advancements, aren't something to only be witnessed in science-fiction—cause they're firmly rooted in today's FACTS!

And like Sam L. Jackson said in Spike Lee's movie, “Do the Right Thing”: “That's the double truth, Ruth”.

Here's the “Ted” talk vid I promised, featuring Mark Essien, who speaks about the technological advancements of Nigeria. Here, he also pontificates on future inventions that would capitalize on Africa's current resources. Mind you, this lecture is 5 years old, so some of the commentary may come off as dated. But that still don't negate the feats of ingenuity Mark talks about, that were and can be, created by us.

The gospel of white fascism (Part 30)...What do Love and Hip-Hop's "Amara La Negra" and Marvel's "Black Panther" movie have in common?

Dana Danelys De Los Santos, a.k.a. Amara La Negra, was born on October 4^th, 1990 in Miami, Florida. Her Dominican parents separated when she was a child, and Amara was raised by a single mother who purportedly worked 3 to 5 jobs at a time, to make ends meet.

Amara grew up near the Miami offices of “Univision”, which is america's largest “spanish-speaking” TV network, and being that Amara had an innate fondness for performing, her mother enrolled her in several dance, modeling and acting classes. As a result, Amara pretty much grew up in the entertainment industry.

And her resume reads like this: at age 4, Amara won the title of “Miss Chicquita”, and from ages 4 to 10, Amara appeared on the TV show, “Sabado Gigante” in the 90's. The Sabado Gigante gig, helped her win back-up dancer spots with artists like: Celia Cruz and Gloria Estefan, and at age 19, she won third place in the “Diva Latina” competition. In 2010 and 2011, she appeared in telenovellas for the “Telemundo” TV network and performed “product presentations” for “Mega TV”.

Now, as of late, Amara's become not only a singing sensation in latin america, but she's a star of the hit TV series, “Love and Hip-Hop”. The latest installment of which takes place in Amara's hometown of Miami. And in the show's latest episodes, she's shown a determination to put “Afro-latinas” on the map of the music industry—and the world.

*Note: In the 1970's, the term “Hispanic” was created by the american government cause “Census Bureau” administrators, found that “latino-americans” were checking the “white” or “caucasian” boxes, when they identified themselves. And I'll tell you why this is crucially important to Amara's story later on in this post.

Marvel Studios movie, “Black Panther”, has a release date of February 16^th, 2018 (Black History Month). And Ryan Coogler, who's a brotha, not only directed this film, but wrote it's screenplay as well. Now, I think everyone reading this realizes that Chadwick Bosworth is playing the lead role, and knows this movie is bringing out all the heavy-hitters, as far as dramatic acting is concerned. You have Angela Bassett playing “Ramonda”, who's not only T'Challa's mother, but the “Queen Mother” of Wakanda. There's also Forest Whitaker playing, “Zuri”, who's an elder-statesmen of Wakanda. You have Michael B. Jordan as “Killmonger”, Lupita N'yongo as “Nakia”, who's an international Wakandan spy, etc. And the movie's estimated budget is somewhere in the neighborhood of 150 to 200 million dollars. So Marvel's pulling out all the stops on this one.

And this movie's basically about T'Challa going back to Wakanda after his father (T'Chaka) is killed, to defend his homeland against foes (Killmonger, Klaue), who are plotting it's takeover—and to prevent a world war.

Now, I want you to take note of how this film's narrative (Cinematic Symbolism) has direct roots to white fascism. Whereas, the first initiative enacted by them, once we fell for the trick of integration, was to get Black men out of the home. Additionally, I'll always remember the 70's TV series “Good Times”, and the episode where “James Evans” died. Now, for decades I'd been told that John Amos left the show, due to artistic differences. Turns out, John was fired cause he didn't like the shows demeaning content. Again—take the Black man out of the home.

And after we bit the bait of integration, whitey gave Black women government benefits that would pay for their food, clothing and shelter, under one condition—(again) they couldn't have a man in the house. Now, at least half of Black women didn't take these benefits cause there was still a spirit of unity left in us. And this is the reason why in the “Reagan 80's”, we had the government-funded, three-headed monster of Reganomics, Crack and AIDS to contest with. Now, I've gone over that ad-nauseum, so I won't do it here. But eventually, I'll put out a tome dedicated to breaking these facets of the 80's, and what Black americans went through in that decade, all the way down. So stay tuned.

Moving on...

You should also take note of the fact that brotha Wesley Snipes was going to star in the film adaptation of Marvel's Black Panther in 1992. He was even in talks with Columbia pictures and Stan Lee to produce the film. Now, rumor has it that the film's script wasn't up to par—but what brotha Wesley probably didn't like was being in a flick with a Black male character named “Man-Ape” (Winston Duke, who plays “M'Baku” in Black Panther). Or playing alongside primitive-looking brothas with plates in their lips (above left). So instead, brotha Wesley starred in the movie, “Blade”. And not only was this movie a hit, but it helped him maintain his dignity while doing it. Kudos to brotha Wesley!

Now, you might be sayin', bruh—what's any of this gotta' do with Amara La Negra, or what she and the Black Panther movie have in common?

Here's the answer...

The most valuable social currency in america, or anywhere else on the globe, is “Black street cred”. PERIOD.

And that's exactly what Marvel studios and Amara “LA NEGRA”, which literally translates into Amara “the Black”, are trying to capitalize on.

Now, remember when I said in the 70's, the american government created the term “hispanic” cause so many of america's Dominicans, Puerto Ricans, Mexicans, Colombians, etc. were identifying themselves as “white”? Well, let me give you another tid-bit about this regarding “latino” rappers.

The rapper “Fat Joe” was once interviewed about 90's era Hip-Hop and how brothas were wearing “African medallions” (left). In it, he said: “Well, I always wore my gold (jewelry), so I don't know what they were trippin' off.” Mind you, it was rap music and Hip-Hop culture—a culture created by Black americans, that made him rich.

So now in 2018, we see Amara “the Black” claiming that she's “unapologetically Afro-Latino” (and this term was blatantly taken from Dr. Umar Johnson who says he's “Unapologetically African”). So basically, not only do both Joe and Amara understand that Black people create the best genres of music, but they also know that Hip-Hop culture, trumps all others in it's popularity, especially with young people around the world.

In other words, Amara doesn't care about identifying herself as Black, she's just hustlin' our music and culture.

Also, the name Amara “the Black”, is directly insulting to our people—she's mocking us with that ridiculous surname.

Additionally, I'll never forget how a former latino friend of mine, once gave me a shirt that said, “Puerto Rico club” on it's back. And I remember passing a group of young latino men while wearing it. After seeing it, they got into a hot argument—and I remember this one latin guy repeating, “Nah, nah, he ain't Puerto Rican—he's Black.” Mind you, they did this in a way saying, he's not one of us, he's one of them. And trust me, 99.9% of latinos, feel the same way.

Now, with the Black Panther movie, the stakes are even higher. Cause first off, what's being sold to us in Black Panther is a culture of obsessing over comic books, video games and super-hero flicks. Meaning, what's being promoted, especially to young Black men, is why we should adopt the tenets of “negro nerdom”. And at the nucleus of this culture are traits that would have us subscribing to being effeminate and immature males—not MEN. And this absolutely fits with the zeitgeist of mainstreamed homosexuality. Which is what white fascists ultimately want us to adopt.

Bottom line of their agenda is to keep Black men, who have the most genetic power to breed them out of existence, from pro-creating.

Additionally, what Marvel wants is that cultural gold standard of “Black street cred”—cause it would cast a legitimately cool light on the whole of the Marvel universe.

So I've said all that to say this: as a Black person, don't be surprised if you go to Amara La Negra's concert and find out these dark-skinned latinos have a problem with you—a “pure-bred” Black man or woman. Cause like I've said so many times in the past, it seems like every non-Black person in america lives by the same motto, and that's this...

It's OK to love Black culture, but you should hate Black people.

Thus, non-Black folks in america have no problem dressing like us, dancing like us, singing like us, or talking like us, while tryin' to make us hate ourselves.

So remember fam—this credo, along wit' Amara's big “backside”, are the only things this “afro-wigged, pseudo-Black” latin woman, is ultimately out to sell.

The cult of Black and white Cinematic Symbolism (Part 9)...3 reasons why Marvel comics turned Iron Man into a Black woman...

A couple of days ago, I looked at my Twitter page and came across an errant ‘tweet’ reading: ‘Exclusive: Marvel’s New Iron Man is a Black woman’.

I thought I’d read it wrong, so I looked at the tweet a second time. Then I clicked on the tweet’s link. It led me to a ‘CNN’ article stating that a new character named, ‘Riri Williams’, will be taking the place of ‘Tony Stark’ as the new face of Iron Man. Now, according to the article, Riri’s backstory is that she’s a science prodigy who enrolled in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) at age 15. And she came to Tony Stark’s attention by way of building an ‘Iron Man suit’ in her dorm room.

The article was written by Lisa Respers, a Black woman who’s a senior producer for CNN’s digital entertainment space, and she’s stationed in Paris, France. And they chose Lisa to write this article, so the world would think Black women universally agree with this decision.

After shaking my head for a minute, I uttered two words to myself: “It figures.”

With that said, let me give you 3 reasons why Marvel turned Iron Man into a Black girl…

Reason#3: Iron Man being a Black girl not only reinforces the stereotype of Black females being hyper-masculine, but it also makes the white feminist ideal of single womanhood more palatable to younger Black females.

In the 80’s and 90’s especially, Black women adopted the “I don’t need no man” mantra. And this was made popular to them by america’s white fascist social order, post-integration.

Uncle S(L)am showed and proved to Black women that he’d indeed take care of their food, clothing and shelter, under one condition: They couldn’t have a man in the house. This condition fostered the sentiment that Black women could be the mother AND father of their children, which further reinforces reasons why they’d never have a need for a man in their lives.

Also, when you think of iron, you immediately think of a substance that’s cold and inflexible. And these attributes are ones that white fascists want the world’s men to ascribe to Black women. Elites want the world’s men to think of Black women as emotionally unavailable, abrasive, argumentative and ultimately, unapproachable.

And ideally, white fascists want to keep Black women in three states of being—they want to keep them well-paid, oversexed and alone. And ‘Scandal’s’ Olivia Pope is a prime example of this.

Reason#2: Making Iron Man a Black girl promotes gender confusion and homosexuality to younger Black females.

Another consequence exacted on Black americans via the white elitist trick of integration, was Black women cohabitating with other Black women as a means of forming something resembling a traditional ‘nuclear family’. And post-integration, a lot of Black girls were raised in these households. Thus, this is the only kind of family they know. And more than likely, this is the same kind of ‘family’ they’ll create as adults.

Thus, for this kind of Black girl, reading this comic or seeing a movie with this version of Iron Man in it, will reinforce reasons why they should adopt a masculine ‘nature’. And what white elites are hoping to do, is get more Black girls feeling that they not only don’t need a man, but that they’re actually men themselves.

Thus, homosexuality and gender confusion go hand-in-hand.

Reason#1: And the number one reason Marvel comics turned Iron Man into a Black girl is…in an age where so many white women are doing everything they can to look like Black women, white fascists have got to denigrate the Black woman’s femininity, so the world’s men can be kept believing that white women are still the world’s prettiest.

California based model Priscilla Caputo, seen left, paid for several collagen lip injections over the course of three years. While she thought this would boost her career, her manic obsession with bigger, fuller lips caused her to over-inflate them to inhuman looking sizes.

Now, I’ll never forget how in my freshman year of high school, a sista openly said to me, “Man, God didn’t give us nothing, he gave us big lips and nappy hair…” And I didn’t respond, cause the american (mis)educational system taught me to feel the same way.

Fast forward to today, when literally millions of white women like Priscilla are getting butt and lip injections trying to look like the very people that young sista thought God had forsaken. It boggles my mind to see pics of white women ‘twerking’ and obsessively squatting themselves off in gyms to have bigger behinds, when we were told how gross and disgusting these physical features were supposed to be.

Now, the public at large might think this is a harmless trend, but this spells trouble for white fascists. And here’s why…

white fascism has conditioned nearly everyone in the free world to think of the white woman as the epitome of feminine beauty. So what happens when this woman spends millions of dollars trying to look like another type of woman?

And let me put that in more layman’s terms—what happens when white women show us that Black women are the world's most attractive females?

I’ll tell you what happens…it not only shatters the notion of the white standard of ‘classic’ beauty, but it says that everything we’ve been taught about the white fascist status quo is a lie.

But what’s even more detrimental to white fascists than this, is how this may affect the psyche of Black women.

See, if a Black woman realizes that she’s the epitome of feminine beauty, then a woman like Olivia Pope wouldn’t allow herself to be used like a sex toy for the gratification of a white man, who she thinks is god. And if that happens, then she would give a person like Fitzgerald Grant III an ultimatum: Either marry me, or we’re done having sex. Point blank, period.

And if this happens, Black women would see God in themselves more and in white people less. Thus, she’d be more liable to fight against the same patriarchal white fascists that white feminists want her to defend. She’d also see that the overwhelming majority of white feminists were not only seeking out and marrying the same oppressive white man they’d been railing against for years, but she’d understand how white feminists only speak out against misogyny when Black men are their targets.

Additionally, a Black woman who knows that she’s the standard of feminine beauty wouldn’t want to put someone else’s hair on her own. Nor would she want to bleach her own hair or skin. And she'd stop putting colored contacts in her eyes.

But even more frightening to the elites, is a Black woman who behind liking her looks, would want to create a family that looks more like herself.

And even more threatening, is a Black woman who’d want to marry someone who looks more like herself, a Black man.

So turning Iron Man into a Black girl basically keeps a new generation of young Black women thinking that their femininity will never equal that of a white woman’s. And this in turn, keeps them thinking that the white woman’s man, the white man, is still god.

So if you’re a Black woman reading this, I hope you now know that white women are telling you emphatically by their lip and butt injections, and obsessive tanning, that YOU are the world’s prettiest woman.

But here’s the real, real question: Will you ever think of yourself that way?

Can you come up out of your conditioned self-hatred enough to see that you are being acknowledged as the world’s prettiest woman?

Cause let me tell you, it’s IMPERATIVE that you do!

And it’s not only important for your own self-esteem, but it’s necessary for the very survival of the Black Diaspora.

And like Sam L. Jackson said in the Spike Lee movie, ‘Do The Right Thing’: “That’s the double truth, Ruth.”
