A solution to Black self-hatred...

Rhonda Byrne's book, 'The Secret', was released on November 26th, 2006. In addition to this tome being a New York Times Bestseller, it's sold over 19 million copies and is translated into 46 different languages.

At the nucleus of this book's ideologies is the 'law of attraction' and how you can harness personal power through a simple three step process, which is encapsulated in the theorem: 'ask, believe and receive'.

The book basically says 'like attracts like'. Meaning, if you think angry thoughts and constantly feel angry, this will cause you to attract more events that will precipitate more anger; conversely, if you think and feel positively, you'll attract that same positivity back into your life.

Now the mantra, 'ask, believe and receive', has its roots in the christian bible. Matthew 21:22 says: 'And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive'.

This bestselling book's tenets were first featured in a documentary called 'The Secret', that came out in March of 2006. This doc consists of interviews that demonstrate the powers of the 'law of attraction', and how the mainstreamed masses can benefit from adopting this method for themselves.

And as we all know, this documentary and the publication of this book gained the attention of celebs like Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres and Larry King.

Now, the message of 'positive visualization' has been promoted in and through the 'New Age/New Thought' movement for the better part of four decades. And while I agree that positive visualization is critical to achieving any kind of goal, I also agree that Rhonda's book should really be called the 'Half-Secret', 'cause there's a critical part of this process that is purposely being kept from the mainstreamed masses...especially the masses of Black people. And let me explain what I'm talking about...

Ever since I can remember, I'd been influenced by Hollywood movies and white western culture(s) period, to revile the Black Spiritual Sciences of The Orishas, Yoruba, Ifa, and especially Voodoo/Vudun.

I can remember seeing trailers for movies like, 'The Serpent and the Rainbow', where these odiously evil Black Voodoo priests/priestess' would cast spells over benevolent white missionaries/anthropologists trying to study and/or save the swarthy and savage masses of Black people. What I found out later, is that those white 'missionaries' in real life, were actually the first and most finessed wave of white colonizers who planned to take over the country/continent. I also found out two other facts: one, the first and probably greatest tool these white colonizers used to win over the Black populous was religion, and two, the term the 'serpent and the rainbow', actually referred to 'Kundalini' energies 'snaking' their way up the spine and through the 'colored' Chakra system(s) of the body. Meaning, it was talking about our people empowering themselves by means of the Black Spiritual Sciences.

And it's no coincidence that the Haitian revolution, that started with a Voodoo/Vudun ceremony (google 'Boukman's prayer' sometimes), is what gave this group of Black people the power to win their fight over Napoleon's army when they were outnumbered and outgunned.

Now, at the core of the Black Spiritual Sciences is this paradigm: while it's vitally important to visualize whatever outcome or goal your trying to achieve, what makes this process MOST powerful, is when you combine your goal's intention with the SUBCONSCIOUS MIND!

I liken 'The Secret' to religious prayer, in so much as, in my experience prayer does 'change things', but more often than not, it fails more than it succeeds. Now, I'm not saying this is EVERYONE'S experience, but it has been mine. And I'm saying, even when I prayed hardest, it seems what I wanted would only manifest a third of the time. So much so, that I stopped praying altogether.

Now, for a good while I've been telling the readers of this Blog that it's imperative for Black people to realize how we've been conditioned to hate ourselves more than any other kind of person on the planet, 'cause we have the most genetic power to breed our oppressors (i.e. white people) out of existence.

I've also expounded on how this resulted in our people being taught our ancestors were nothing but slaves, and how no other ethnic group gets taught this, and how white fascist techniques created the deep schism between the Black man and woman, and how this ultimately resulted in its desired goal, which is the nearly complete destruction of the Black 'nuclear' family.

But as of late, the sentiment I've been hearing from readers is, bruh...we got that message! Now how do we get out of this self-hatred?

So that's what I'll address in this post, by expounding on a meditative technique I've used to work towards that goal.

Now, I want you to notice that this post is called 'A solution to Black self-hatred', not 'The solution to Black self-hatred'. I would never be so pompous as to tell anyone I have the definitive solution to any problem, let alone that of how our Diaspora can pluck the self-hatred conditioned into us, out of us. So it's imperative you understand that this is a meditative technique I've used, to help me rid myself of the conditioning I received, unknowingly, in the american educational system. In other words, this is not a 'cure-all' or a universal remedy to this problem.

Now with that said, let's get into this technique...

What you should start off with is a candle, a quiet and darkened room, and a comfortable chair to sit in.

Now, the candle will serve as your focal point. This is going to be the instrument that basically gets you into your subconscious. And let me add, for those who don't have a candle handy, if you're not ready to purchase one, you can use some other household object as your mental focus point. For instance, you could use a 'night light' instead of a candle, or a common figurine of some sort. But, it's preferable that you use something 'illuminated', especially if you're going to sit in a darkened room. Now, you also don't absolutely have to sit in a darkened room either, but it makes the process of getting into your subconscious a whole lot easier.

Now, I've written about another technique I used to get into my subconscious on this Blog, but that was a bit too labor intensive for me to do consistently; so this is one I've created that's a bit more user-friendly, and lends itself more to being done daily. Also, whereas the last technique I wrote about took upwards of a half an hour to complete, this one can be done in ten to fifteen minutes.

And let me say again, this technique is to be done daily for the results you're wanting to achieve.

So let's say you have the candle and everything else you need for this technique. What you should do is light the candle, dim the lights and get yourself comfortable in front of the candle's flame. Now, you can sit, kneel or stand in front of the candle...whichever works best for you, as long as you can gaze easily into its flame. What I don't suggest is lying down in front of your candle, for the obvious reason of not letting it put you to sleep.

Allow yourself to gaze deeply into the candle's flame for at least three to four minutes. Watch the flame's slow flickering dance, while you lower your shoulders, relax your body and clear your thoughts. Now you should start repeating this inducing suggestion quietly in your mind, or out loud: “I am going deep into my subconscious, soon I will be in hypnosis.”

Relax every part of your body while you state this mantra. Feel a warm sensation washing down your arms, torso, legs and feet, while the whole of your body snuggles back in your chair. Keep repeating the suggestion.

What your trying to do is lower or lessen the conscious mind, so you can access the subconscious. Now, initially, you might experience a lot of chatter in your mind. This might range from thoughts about the day's events, to troubles you've been dealing with lately. Understand, this is just the conscious mind doing its job of protecting the subconscious. Remember, your subconscious keeps your heart beating and your lungs breathing, so the conscious mind is gonna' try to run some necessary interference. Just let these thoughts melt away and keep your mental focus on the candle's flame and your suggestion.

You'll know more or less when you're in or near your subconscious when you consciousness begins feeling a bit altered or fuzzy, kinda' like when you're driving down a highway and you stare at its white line. At some point, your conscious mind is still aware of what's going on, but you feel a bit of a 'buzzing' sensation, and reality starts feeling a bit suspended. Like when you've arrived at work, having driven for an hour, but you're unable to remember the majority of the journey.

Now, the more time you spend with this part of the process, the deeper you can impact the subconscious mind. So if you planned to spend eight of your fifteen minutes with the inducing suggestion, and want to extend it to ten or twelve, do so.

When you start feeling this 'altered' sensation, or the sensation of 'suspended reality', then you can start repeating the mantra you want to program into your subconscious.

Now, if your aim is to erase your Black self-hatred, I think the best place to start, is by getting rid of your feelings of inferiority around white people. So, in regards to them, I'd simply word my mantra like this: “I DO NOT feel inferior to white people.” And you can say this either to yourself or out loud.

While gazing into the candle's flame, repeat this mantra slowly, remembering once again to emphasize the words 'DO NOT'. Try to repeat this mantra as many times as you can in a seven minute period, and like I said before, if you want to go longer, by all means do.

Remember, your goal is to create a union between the candle's flame and your mantra. This is basically the physical representation of your intention connecting with your subconscious.

Also, a frequent reader of this Blog asked me, if you're feeling less confident around 'non-Black' people, then how should you go about wording a mantra that deals specifically with that?

I'd first go about identifying the ethnic group I want to target. For instance, if I found myself feeling less confident around asians, I'd word my conditioning mantra like the one above, and say: “I DO NOT feel inferior to asians.”

Now, when saying this, again, it's imperative you emphasize the words 'DO NOT'! For obvious reasons.

And the reason you'd say “I DO NOT feel inferior to asians.” As opposed to: “asians are NOT superior to me.”; is because the pronoun 'I' penetrates the subconscious more deeply than 'me' does, or would. And once again, I'll reiterate, this is the technique that's worked for me. Results can and do vary from person to person.

After you've created a synergy with your candle's flame and your mantra, and you feel you're ready to end the meditative session, you should stop repeating your mantra and breath several slow, deep breaths, before repeating a concluding suggestion. And that concluding suggestion is: “I am speaking to my subconscious mind, you will retain this command.” This further aids your mantra's ability to embed itself in your subconscious. Repeat the concluding suggestion slowly at least seven times. Then, give yourself over to your consciousness returning to its place at the front of your awareness. After a few deep breaths, you should be back at your regular consciousness. Then you're done.

You should start seeing, or feeling, the results of these daily exercises, in a matter of two weeks. After these two weeks, when you find yourself in the company of white people, you should notice that you're feeling more self-assured and self-possessed around them. The same applies to any 'non-Black' ethnic group your mantra is targeting.

I'd also like to remind people of this point emphatically: THIS IS WORK!!

Please don't do this once for fifteen minutes and tell me nothing happened, 'cause this ain't that kinda' party!

Understand that twenty plus years of conditioning, by the amercan educational system especially, to hate yourself and everyone who looks like you IS NOT GONNA' GO AWAY IN FIFTEEN MINUTES!

So you should realize that this is a marathon, not a sprint. You must dedicate yourself to this daily and over the long haul, if you're gonna' see any measured and lasting results.

Also, I need you to understand that after you do see results, and you've been doing these exercises for 6 months to a year, you may find that your mantras are becoming less effective. This happens when your psyche gets used to your mantra. An analogy I liken this to is what someone experiences when they start drinking alcohol. When you first start drinking, you might get an inebriated 'buzz' after two drinks, but after 6 months of drinking those two drinks, you'll find you need four or five, to get to the 'buzz' you first got with two.

When this happens, you'll have to 'double-up' on your meditation time, or your mantra's repetitions, to get the same results you've gotten before. So you see, this not only takes diligence, but continued maintenance.

But I tell you this, my life has been enriched beyond measure with this technique. I'm performing feats with my mind that I once thought were impossible...at least for me.

Also, this is just a technique I've come up with to effect change in my life. There are multitudinous ways of getting into your subconscious mind effectively. I encourage you to peruse a book store's shelves, and find some tomes that'll list more techniques that might work best for you.

But one thing that's truly lovely about this technique is you can tailor-make your mantras to help you with ANY situation. Remember, as long as you can come up with an effective mantra, and an effective way to connect your mantra's intention to your subconscious, NOT EVEN THE SKY'S THE LIMIT!

And best of all, what this also does, is get you out of the impotent orthodoxies of 'positive visualization' and simple 'prayers'.

So now that you know the fundamentals of this technique, all that's left to do is to get to work.

What I'll also mention, is techniques like this one, in my opinion, are really what makes being in the Black 'conscious' community worth while. Now don't get me wrong, having esoteric knowledge of ancient Black people is scintillating, but THESE EXERCISES ARE THE SUREST MEANS OF EMPOWERING OUR COMMUNITY AND OURSELVES INDIVIDUALLY! At least in my estimation.

And like I've learned last year, when people refer to 'Black majik' or 'Dark-Side majik', what they're talking about is working with the subconscious mind...the 'darker side' of ourselves. This is not only where our ancestors went to acquire power, but these techniques are what our ingenious ancient Black mothers and fathers left here FOR US!!

So let's be like our ancestors and get with the 'DARK-SIDE'!

The SUBCONSCIOUS MIND Y'ALL...THAT'S WHAT'S UP!!!!

Are Black relationships doomed to fail?

Recently, a Black woman who frequents this Blog made a comment on one of my social media pages and wrote: 'The Collective Relationship between the Black Male/Female is irreparable'.

Now, this statement hit me like a ton of bricks. And let me explain why...

What I'm endeavoring to do on this Blog more than anything, is show Black men and women how the dysfunction exhibited in our Diaspora, is the result of decades of intensive mental conditioning we get to hate ourselves and each other...in the guise of an american education no less. And the kinds(s) of conditioning we get, no other ethnic group does, 'cause Black men and women have the most genetic power to breed whites out of existence.

Now, being that this woman follows my Blog, I'm thinking just knowing these facts, would give her and every other Black person reading my posts, some kind of hope for our Diaspora's future. So when I read her comment, my heart sank.

On top of this, I've been suffering from something I've been calling a 'Black Nationaist fatigue'; meaning, I'm long overdue for a break from examining the minutiae of white fascism. It seems, at least to me, that I've obsessed long enough on trying to show people the nuts and bolts of white supremacy's machinations, and I've also become a bit disenchanted at thoughts of listening to another lecture on the aesthetics of the Black Spiritual Sciences.

So, this past weekend, I decided to kick back, make some popcorn, buy a coupla' of six-packs of cola and watch something purely for its entertainment value. So after about an hour of perusing the internet on my TV, I came upon a particular documentary that struck my interest.

Now, I'll confess that I'm a boxing fan. With that said, I can tell you that I don't obsess over sports figures and I couldn't tell you the latest stats for my local teams, but every once in a while, I don't mind watching a master pugilist get their knuckle-game on. Mind you, I'm saying I'm a boxing fan; meaning, I'm in no way a fan of that MMA crap. Men rolling around on the floor on top of each other, doesn't fascinate me, and more often that not, that's how these MMA fighters end up (pun intended).

Boxing, at least to me, employs a lot more strategy than some MMA fighter who just swings wildly and lands a lucky punch, which nine times out of ten, again, winds up with two men rolling around on the ground. And another aspect of my fascination with boxing is that it's a solitary sport, it doesn't involve teams of over-grown, steroid-ridden men running into each other. In a way, I view writing as a solitary sport, so to speak, with the exception that I don't have to duck any punches in the process; at least not yet. I'm also a bit of a documentary junkie. Thus, I set out to look for some sort of doc about boxing.

What I came across was a film about the champion prize fighter Floyd Mayweather; I remembered watching an interview with him and coming away being more impressed with his insights than I thought I'd be. Now, the title of the doc, or so I thought at the time was, 'Floyd Mayweather-Big Boss', at least this was the 'YouTube' title.

The first frame of this documentary, was a Black screen with three words on it, and those were: 'Guilty-domestic-violence'. Then other words appeared around them. And they stated: 'On December 21st, 2011, controversial boxer, Floyd Mayweather plead guilty to a misdemeanor domestic violence incident that allegedly occurred in September of 2010'. Now, what I later learned from this doc was Floyd was never proven guilty of this charge. There was no definitive evidence saying that he indeed committed this crime. Also, Floyd said he was advised to plead guilty by his lawyers so he could basically pay a fine and make the case go away. To say that advise back-fired is an understatement. So what the producers of this doc were saying, was they pre-judged Floyd as being guilty, regardless of whether he committed this crime or not.

What I learned later, was this doc was one produced by

the cable network 'Showtime', and it was titled, '30 days in May'; this film endeavored to show  30 days of Floyd's life up until he was sent to jail.

Now, Floyd Mayweather worked out a deal with 'Showtime' where his fights are only broadcast on their network. So I thought they would have a vested interest in treating him better than this. Now, the question I had right from the top was, why didn't they start this documentary after Floyd got out of prison?

I'll tell you why, 'cause even though multi-billion dollar networks like Showtime are in business with Floyd, they still don't like the fact that a Black man has Floyd's kinda' money. So they're gonna' do everything they can to assassinate this man's character. Essentially what this doc was really designed to do, was say to the world that all Floyd's accolades and accomplishments meant nothing 'cause at the end of the film, he'd wind up behind bars. And this doc was especially saying this to the Black Diaspora, so the ever-present message we get to hate ourselves could be reinforced.

Now mind you, I was looking to watch something that wasn't political, something like I said earlier, that was for entertainment purposes only. But the machinations of white supremacy reared its ugly head anyhow.

Now, you might be saying, well, since Floyd is boastful and has a tendency to flaunt his riches, and was complicit in creating this doc for Showtime, why should we care how he's portrayed?

'Cause there's other more sublimely insidious messages embedded in this documentary that have nothing to do with him; let me explain...

In one instance, this doc shows Floyd taking his two sons and his daughter to see the rapper 'Drake' in concert in his hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada. After the show, we see Floyd's children enjoying a moment of domestic bliss playing tag with one another, a second later we see a caption on the screen saying: '19 days before jail'. Now, this is the crap that pisses me all the way off! 'Cause what the inbred white bigots on Showtime are really doing is not only casting aspersion on Floyd's family, but Black families in general. And earlier in the doc, white fascists do this even more sublimely; let me show you how.

Now, what we see to the left, is a pic of one of Floyd's sons placidly sleeping. Seconds after this, Floyd confesses to one of his personal stylists that he's gonna' go to prison for three months. He does this while wearing a Black shirt. A few seconds later, we see this picture to the right. Now, you're gonna' have to excuse this pic for its lack of clarity, 'cause I copied this photo right from the moving image of the documentary itself.

But looking at this particular pic, tell me what you notice immediately. Well, one of the first things you'd notice, are the two white women in white dresses; and the Black man walking to their right. With this pic coming up right after Floyd confesses he's going to jail, it's meant to reinforce the idea that Black men, and Black people in general, are predisposed to family dysfunction, violence, winding up in prison and every other negative thought your mind can conjure up about us; it's also saying, that white women, and white people in general, are the polar opposites, meaning, they're more likely to be morally upstanding, square-dealing and scrupulous. Now, you might be thinking, c'mon bruh, you're really reaching for stuff now.

Think so? Okay, then let's take another look at this pic. If you look at the very top of that picture, on the left hand side, there's a teleprompter flashing the word 'Hypnosis'.

Let's look at this pic a bit more closely to the left. Ya' see this fam?

Now, tell me, do ya' think this is a coincidence?

Of course not, what these inbreds want to do is actually hypnotize us, or our collective subconscious minds, into believing their B.S. about whites always having the moral high-ground.

Now, mind you, your conscious mind may not be picking this up, but your 'subconscious' sure as hell is. And this is all done in the name of furthering the campaign to make Black people hate themselves and everyone who looks like them.

But one great thing happened after I saw this pic, and its sneak attack on the Black Diaspora's subconscious; this told me, emphatically, that the rift between Black men and women is ABSOLUTELY REPAIRABLE!

Here's why...

The reason whitey is obsessed with making the Black Diaspora hate themselves, is without all their efforts, we would have little to no dysfunction in our communities.

I talk ad nauseum about the Black Wall Street in Tulsa, Oklahoma and how it was a shining example of Black folks doing everything right. Well, left to our own devices, this is what we'd recreate all over again...and these inbreds know this. So they keep us in a constant state of self-hatred, which breeds our Diaspora’s dysfunction. 'Cause truthfully, if one initiative worked to keep Black communities in a state of chaos, whitey wouldn't need to employ several at once. Meaning, they wouldn't need to try to make us hate ourselves from watching damn near every documentary, TV show, commercial, movie, billboard ad, etc.

This fact cleared my head...and ended my 'Black Nationalist fatigue'.

So if you're a Black man or woman reading this, know that the dysfunction in our Diaspora is NOT INEVITABLE!

Now, ending the rift between Black men and women might not come in my lifetime, but it doesn't mean we can't look to our children to end it, with some help from us preferably.

That's why its so important, or imperative, that we build an independent schooling system, or home-schooling co-operative(s), where our children can learn the basics of reading, writing and 'rithmetic, without whitey's message of self-hatred embedded in what they learn.

Some Black men and myself have taken on the task of donating monies and supplies to a home-schooling cooperative near us; and this is something the Black Diaspora can do right now to end our cycle of self-hatred. And this is something we need to do NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY!

So if you're a Black man or woman who's reading this, and you're interested in healing the rift not only amongst ourselves, but in our communities, let's start the work to rid ourselves of the self-loathing that was force fed into us through several years of pre, middle and high schooling. Let's take up the task of doing this not only for our generation, but more importantly, for the next one.

This way, no young Black man or woman has to feel that the rift between us is irreversible...or irreparable.

The legend of the Willie Lynch Letter...

In 1712, William Lynch, a british slave owner in the West Indies, was brought to the american colony of Virginia to consult a large group of slave-owning inbreds on how to curb the mass revolts that were happening in the area.

The term 'lynching' referring to the hanging of Black men in america was actually attributed to him and his surname.

Now, I'm figuring if you've been reading my Blog for any amount of time you've heard about or have actually read this letter. But in case you haven't, I'm going to go over its main tenets here.

But before we do that, let's go over this first part of the Willie Lynch speech/letter in its entirety...

Gentlemen. I greet you here on the bank of the James River in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and twelve. First, I shall thank you, the gentlemen of the Colony of Virginia, for bringing me here. I am here to help you solve some of your problems with slaves. Your invitation reached me on my modest plantation in the West Indies, where I have experimented with some of the newest, and still the oldest, methods for control of slaves. Ancient Rome would envy us if my program is implemented. As our boat sailed south on the James River, named for our illustrious King, whose version of the Bible we cherish, I saw enough to know that your problem is not unique. While Rome used cords of wood as crosses for standing human bodies along its highways in great numbers, you are here using the tree and the rope on occasions. I caught the whiff of a dead slave hanging from a tree, a couple miles back. You are not only losing valuable stock by hangings, you are having uprisings, slaves are running away, your crops are sometimes left in the fields too long for maximum profit, you suffer occasional fires, your animals are killed. Gentlemen, you know what your problems are; I do not need to elaborate. I am not here to enumerate your problems, I am here to introduce you to a method of solving them. In my bag here, I HAVE A FULL PROOF METHOD FOR CONTROLLING YOUR BLACK SLAVES.

If installed correctly, it will control the slaves for at least  three hundred years.

My method is simple. Any member of your family or your overseer can use it. I HAVE OUTLINED A NUMBER OF DIFFERENCES AMONG THE SLAVES; AND I TAKE THESE DIFFERENCES AND MAKE THEM BIGGER. I USE FEAR, DISTRUST AND ENVY FOR CONTROL PURPOSES.

These methods have worked on my modest plantation in the West Indies and it will work throughout the South. Take this simple little list of differences and think about them. On top of my list is “AGE,” but it’s there only because it starts with an “a.” The second is “COLOR” or shade. There is INTELLIGENCE, SIZE, SEX, SIZES OF PLANTATIONS, STATUS on plantations, ATTITUDE of owners, whether the slaves live in the valley, on a hill, East, West, North, South, have fine hair, course hair, or is tall or short. Now that you have a list of differences, I shall give you an outline of action, but before that, I shall assure you that DISTRUST IS STRONGER THAN TRUST AND ENVY STRONGER THAN ADULATION, RESPECT OR ADMIRATION. The Black slaves after receiving this indoctrination shall carry on and will become self-refueling and self-generating for HUNDREDS of years, maybe THOUSANDS.

In a nutshell, what dastardly Will is advocating is exploiting the differences between slaves so they'll fight amongst each other. In the latter part of this speech, he makes this plain by saying slave owners should pit light-skinned slaves against dark-skinned slaves, young slaves against older slaves, males slaves against female slaves, house slaves against field slaves, etc.

Now, not only are these methods still effective, but because of the 1964 Civil Rights act signed by President Johnson, which basically made 'integration' the law in america, these methods work more powerfully now than they did under segregation laws. Let me explain why...

In the early 1900's Tulsa, Oklahoma's 'Black Wall Street' was a thriving metropolis where many Black men were multimillionaires. The Black Diaspora there literally had their own banks, grocery stores, bus lines and every other kind of business associated with a thriving city. The american government bombed this city in 1921, calling this a 'race riot' to cover up for their dastardly method of stopping this city from continuing to prosper. Blacks were getting too powerful and Black women could wholly depend on Black men in this city to provide them and their children with food, clothing and shelter.

But the white elites were smart enough to realize that if they could keep bombing this community, Blacks staying in these segregated areas, would continue to build these businesses back up, thus continuing their growth. So whitey needed a sure-fire way to get our money into their pockets...their answer, intergration.

Enter Martin Luther King Jr.

Now, MLK spearheaded the Civil Rights movement and integration which was a trick played on us again, to get our dollars into white pockets. And it worked! We've never been as powerful since. Fast forward about fifty years later and this doctrine works so well, and Black men and women have been rendered so dysfunctional by its effects, that we can hardly date each other or engage in loving relationships with one another anymore.

The first thing elitist white fascists did when we entered their school system was create an 'education' specifically designed to make Black people hate themselves and each other; so for seventeen or eighteen years, if you're a Black man or woman reading this, you and I have been ingesting or ingested the white supremacist conditioning that has us now relegating ourselves to the status of sex toys for white, asian and spanish men and women.

How you ask?

If again, you are a Black man or woman reading this, whitey has us hating one another so much that we now spend the majority of our lives trying to date and mate anyone except another Black man or woman...ESPECIALLY if we have a college degree.

Also, the main tenet of the Willie Lynch letter is slave owners MUST GET THE BLACK WOMAN AWAY FROM THE BLACK MAN! It is and was imperative that Black men and women were and are made to hate each other through these white supremacist initiatives.

Now, I've said all that to say this, at some point we have to at least acknowledge 'consciously' that this was DONE TO US BY WHITE PEOPLE!

We can't keep thinking white people are our friends without staying in this cycle of dysfunction for the rest of our lives. Now, if you've been reading this Blog at all for the past couple of months, you probably know I advocate the use of meditative techniques to recondition ourselves out of this self-hatred at the 'subconscious' level. But as of late, I've gotten a lot of resistance to this idea. So what I'm advocating, or pushing for now is to make the Black Diaspora aware, at least consciously, that this was done to us; that's why the Black Diaspora is so ready to hate and hurt our own kind. If we can acknowledge this consciously, maybe it will lead to our doing something to correct this at the subconscious level, 'cause that's the place you really have to go to change behavior.

Or at this point, is the Black Diaspora so far gone, we don't have any chance of getting our right minds back?

I say where there's life, there's hope...and I can't give up on my people, it's just not in my nature.

So, if you are a Black man or woman reading this who considers themselves a Black Nationalist, conscious, or who just gives a damn about their people, and if you ever find yourself tempted to cast aspersion on our people for our negative behavior(s), think about the conditioning we've endured to make us this way. Remember, WE WE'RE NOT BORN LIKE THIS AND WE'RE NOT DOOMED TO CONTINUE BEING THIS WAY!

And the changing of our people believe it or not, starts with YOU!

So what are you willing to do to break this vicious cycle?

The triumph(s) of Terrence Howard (Part 2)...What's the most important dating question you'll ever ask yourself?

Recently, I wrote a post praising the work of Terrence Howard; and it was bought to my attention by a commenter on that post, that Terrence had some pretty derogatory things to say about Black women. So I did some research to find out what's been goin' on with the man.

Now, I'm suspecting it was a Black woman who left a comment saying Terrence referred to sistas as 'antiquated', and then said white women represented 'progress'. And since then, I've been trying to find this televised interview to determine the veracity of whether or not he made this crass a statement towards sistas.

It looks like he in fact did make this statement after I did some checking, only thing is, the powers that be seemed to have conveniently lost this interview footage in the name of 'damage control'.

But, there's another part of said interview, where Terrence allegedly spoke on his white wife calling him the 'n-word'. He also said she wanted nothing to do with their Black child, and this woman also allegedly hit Howard.

And this put a different slant on this interview beyond the ethnic slams therein.

It seems brotha Terrence not only has a problem with Black women...but women period.

Now usually, I'm used to putting and keeping on my Black Nationalism cap; but for this post, I think I'll take it off for a sec' and talk about something I haven't discussed in a while...dating and relationships.

Terrence has been married four times, and it seems he's the type who doesn't like to be alone, 'cause one of his wives he married after only knowing her for a month. Now, I'd say the majority of us don't like being alone for too long a stretch; but Terrence marrying after a month makes his actions seem down-right pathological.

And this brings me back to a post I did on Steve Harvey titled, 'What Steve Harvey won't tell women about finding a good man'.

Now, in terms of finding a desirable mate, there's one question you should ask yourself before you even consider entering the dating scene; and this rings true for men AND women.

And that question is: Do you know who you're attracting and who you're attracted to?

I remember once, I was at a club on my birthday in New York City, and I was at one of my favorite live music spots, 'S.O.B.'s', which stands for 'Sounds of Brazil' and not son-of-a...

Anyway, it was a night the musical artist Jaguar Wright was performing; and shouts out to her for a great performance. So, the night was on a 'smooth R&B tip.' *smiles*

Now, everyone there was pretty much paired up, so I felt a bit conspicuous flying solo, but I was determined to have a good time anyways.

Then, one of the club's waitresses walks up to me and starts conversing; she was a nice lady, looked to be in her early forties and she had a nice body and smile. But there was a problem, the fact that this woman came up to me and starting conversing was something a lot of men would take as a sign of her being oversexed and from an unstable and abusive household. And I know women are gonna' think, oh my goodness, you can't possibly draw that kind of conclusion from someone just coming up to you and starting a conversation; I'm not saying this was true about this woman, I'm just saying a lot of men would think this because she essentially 'made the first move'.

Now, if you're a woman reading this, it's imperative you know that you MUST always let a man make the 'first move' in terms of a conversation or a flirtation. And this has nothing to do with your right to be a feminist, or a 'modern day woman'...remember, in the eyes of a man, if a woman makes the first move, what he'll think about her instantly is, I'll have sex with her, but she's not relationship material.

And I'm not saying that's how it should be, I'm just saying that's how it really is. And, I was surprised that this mature woman didn't know this fact, or at least she wasn't acting like it.

Then I noticed the woman had a nose ring, now, facial piercings I know from experience mark the sign of a woman, or a person, who's suffered a severe childhood trauma. Again, I'm not saying this woman is not a good person, but understand that facial piercings and tattoos on a woman, make her look like she's either had a history with drugs and/or histories with too many of the wrong types of men.

But we kept conversing, 'cause I didn't see any need to be rude. Then she walked off and tended to her table stations.

After several minutes she came back and we conversed some more; then she confessed to me that she was a single mother. Now, I don't have a problem with this, but with all the other factors of how she approached me, I knew, this wasn't a woman I'd date. She then said she'd get my phone number before leaving to tend to her table stations again. That was a relief.

After several more minutes, I saw she was speaking to co-workers and Jaguar Wright had finished her set, so that's when I took my leave.

This woman doesn't realize that her approach to men, or to me at least, was all wrong. And I could tell this wasn't the first time she'd approached a guy in this club like that. But ultimately, here's why I wouldn't date that woman; it's because I know what kind of women I'm attracting.

Understand, if you come from an unstable and abusive household, you're going to attract and be attracted to, other people from unstable and abusive households.

And there's NO WAY two people from those backgrounds can create a stable and highly functional home. 'Cause subconsciously, you're gonna' attract someone who never knew what a stable relationship looks like.

And I'm sure everyone reading this knows a friend who gets into bad relationship after bad relationship, and doesn't know why.

Also, notice we're talking about the subconscious mind again.

'Cause in order to resolve this problem, you're gonna' have to access the childhood trauma in your subconscious that's making you pick these kind of dates and mates.

This is the stuff they (the fractured educational system) should be teaching us in middle or high school...but what do they have us doing instead? Dissecting frogs.

The elite know that accessing and reconditioning the subconscious mind is the real way to get free of any mental conditioning that's keeping us down. Either politically or socially. That's why they keep this info. from us.

And ultimately, it's meditation that will help us access the subconscious mind. And note, when I say meditation, I'm not talking about doing some light yoga to get rid of daily stresses; I'm talking about going and getting into the deepest recesses of your subconscious through either affirmations or self-hypnosis; and if you can do both, your meditation sessions will be even more effective.

So, getting back to Terrence Howard, do I think he'll ever do what's required to change his thinking and actions towards dating and marrying...probably not. You know why? 'Cause most of us don't even recognize the problem at this level, and if we do, we're hyper-reluctant to do the meditative work to change it.

But I hope brotha Terrence does see where his dating and mating mishaps stem from, 'cause he's too talented to have his vocational life in order, and his personal life in shambles.

What (Uncle) Tommy Sotomayor doesn't realize about his hatred for Black women...

"The most dangerous place for a Black man to be is with a black woman."

"Are black women the biggest enemy of Black men?"

"The most classless, vile and unladylike women are..."

"Systas can't keep their legs or their mouths closed."

"Sistas are made of weaves, tattoos and bad attitudes."

These are but a few of the sentiments Uncle Tommy has spewed on his several YouTube channels.

Tommy has basically made a career out of slandering black women; and he has hordes of them and Black men, hanging on his every word.

I should know, I was one of 'em.

But after hearing these sentiments repeatedly, and hearing Tom say how Black people in general, lack the capacity to think critically, I came to my senses and dumped this self-hating Uncle Ruckus bastard.

But if Uncle Tommy knew what I've recently found out, he'd stop his rants about black women tommorrow.

And what I found out is this...YOU CAN'T HATE ANY FACTION OF THE BLACK DIASPORA, AND NOT HATE YOURSELF FOR BEING BLACK.

And what I mean is, if you're a Black man who hates black women, guess what? You're gonna' hate yourself consciously or subconsciously for being Black.

Just like if you're a Black elder who hates the Black youth, you're gonna hate yourself for being Black; and if you're a Black African who hates Black americans, you're gonna hate yourself for being Black...etc.etc.

AND THERE IS NO EXCEPTION TO THIS RULE.

NONE.

Now, understand what I'm saying; I'm not suggesting that as a Black man or woman you have to love and trust every single Black person you meet...that's impractical. I'm just saying again, you can't hate any one group of Black people without it affecting you.

Now, if Tommy knew this, he'd rethink his whole approach to dealing with black women and Black people altogether. 'Cause if we know nothing else about Tom, we know he loves himself above anything or anyone else.

With that being said, here's why Uncle Tom will never come to this conclusion.

It's because Black people like Tommy actually like feeling inferior to white people.

They're comfortable feeling subordinate to them, because they've been so conditioned to think white people created everything known to mankind, that to them, it feels intrinsically right to let them have their way. Even when it hurts them and their kind.

I remember talking to a Black co-worker of mine, and this person was a mature Jamaican man; we talked about a white co-worker who was obviously dim-witted and while we verbalized this to each other, this man said to me: "Yeah, that guy's an idiot. But I shouldn't say that, because he is white after all."

I thought my head was gonna' explode.

I couldn't believe what I'd just heard.

There was another instance where I worked along side a mature African guy who would always boast about his 'manly' status. He would question other men about how sexually active they were and tell black women he couldn't be with them because he's such a 'big African man'.

I remember one day, some white man rejected him in some form or fashion, and this 'big African man' started balling like a baby. He was so conditioned to love them, that he was literally brought to tears by some pale-skinned inbred because that person disliked him.

Now, I'm not casting aspersion on Black Jamaicans or Africans, but this is how conditioned Black people on the whole are to hate themselves and love whites. And because we spend the majority of our lives mired in this kind of conditioning, it feels totally natural.

Now, what this makes me think of, is brotha Gil-Scot Heron's hyper-prescient and timeless quote: "The revolution will not be televised."

This proverb is beyond pithy 'cause it's the stark raving truth. And in it's truest sense, especially pertaining to Black people, the greatest revolution isn't going to happen in the streets, or on social media, or anyplace where it can be publicly broadcast.

It's gonna' happen in our minds.

'Cause until you and I do the subconscious work to recondition ourselves out of the white supremacist mindset we've had force fed into us, we'll always love whites more than we love ourselves.

And for those of you who want to include brown people in our revolution, understand, they love white people just as much, or possibly more than we do. And consciously or subconsciously, they hate us just like white people do...an again, possibly more so.

So understand, we have to do the meditative, subconscious work necessary to truly love our Black selves and each other again.

And for those Black people who think it's all about finance, remember, the Black 'nuclear' family was more intact when we as a people had less than we do now.

So I'm saying to every brotha and sista out there, the subconscious mind is the real battlefield. And I've begun building my arsenal with a meditative regimen that'll help me fight off the truest enemy of our people...and that's Black self-hatred.

Now, might our revolution involve taking to the streets in the future? Possibly. But again, until you're mentally ready to defend yourself and your communities, you won't take up arms to protect yourself anyway.

And I for one, intend to be ready to defend myself.
