White supremacist religion(s) and Black churches...a match made in heaven?

"Give me a child 'til the age of seven and we'll show you the man."
--The Jesuits

Chances are, if you've ever driven or walked through a predominately African-American neighborhood, you've noticed a church and a liquor store on every corner. I'd venture to say, you probably encountered more churches than liquor stores. What message does this send to this neighborhood's residents and everyone else passing through these areas? Well, here's my take on it...

Any Black person can attest to the fact of being force fed the doctrines of Martin Luther King Jr. and Jesus Christ (or some other version of Christianity: Seventh Day Adventist, Jehovah's Witness, Baptist, Methodist, etc.) ad nauseum in their formative years. And there's a very distinct reason why our areas are targeted with these two philosophies.

Firstly, the tale of Martin Luther King goes pretty much like this: Uber-pacifist and baptist preacher King, revolutionized the Black Human Rights movement (wrongly termed the Civil Rights movement; we weren't fighting for the right to be civil) by telling our people it's better to overcome whites with our capacity to love, than to physically or economically fight back against nationalized, institutional white bigotry. So while he and other Black people got their heads beat in by mobs of white bigots, they continuously pray for their oppressors while being preyed upon. This comes back to the passages in the the bible saying: Love your enemy and pray for those who use you spitefully. What King never realized was the bible was written by our oppressors. So after integrating Blacks into handing their monies over to white institutions (which was the real agenda of integration--if you disagree, you're just in denial...do the research), the story ends with the pacifist, non-violent King, dying violently. The End.

Now, let's look directly at religion's role in this equation. Before I say anything directly about religion though, I'd like to just display some passages from the bible. Check these out:

Ephesians, Chapter 6:5:
Slaves, you must obey your earthly masters. Show them great respect and be as loyal to them as you are to christ.

Ephesians, Chapter 6:6:
Try to please them at all times, and not just when you think they are watching. You are SLAVES OF CHRIST (!?), so with your whole heart you must do what god wants you to do.

6:7
Gladly serve your master as though they were the lord himself, AND NOT SIMPLY PEOPLE.

6:8
You know that you will be rewarded for any good things you do, WHETHER YOU ARE SLAVES OR FREE.

I think these passages are pretty self-explanatory. When I first stumbled upon these verses, my jaw dropped.

This basically is the agenda of christianity in ALL its forms. The white elite wanna' keep us in a paradigm of being sheep led to slaughter, while we continuously forgive them for all the atrocities they levy on our people. And we continue to go for it. I recently read another blog on this website where a Black man was talking about all the self-hatred in the Black diaspora; even though I'm glad he tackled the subject, he tempered his argument by saying, "...we (Black people) are 'GOD'S PROPERTY', so we shouldn't feel inferior to anyone." Even when we try to break out of the 'ole negro programming, it's still lurking in our subconscious and holding us hostage to the white supremacist trick bag of religion. I must say though, more and more Blacks of and in the diaspora are waking up to the sham of christian dogmas. So what's the church's remedy for this? Other religions. I can't tell you the number of times I've watched popular youth-oriented shows to find buddhist statues in the background of almost every shot in the TV program. (Check it--TV 'PROGRAM') The same themes of 'forgiveness' run through buddhist dogmas which is why the white elite are giving us mega-doses of it on TV. Every time I see a black celebrity on TV, they're wearing black buddhist beads on their wrist...check it out, next time you tune in.

And the Black churches are filled with a predominance of black women. The majority of them single. Because, whether they or the church want to acknowledge it, the message they get and give every Sunday is: EVERYTHING NEGATIVE IS MASCULINE AND EVERYTHING POSITIVE IS FEMININE. Again, don't take my word for it...do the research.

Notice america's status quo always puts a negative spin on the Black spiritual sciences though; sciences like Voudun (Voodoo) and The Orishas. I've NEVER seen a hollywood film portraying the sciences of Voodoo in a positive light. If you can find or think of one, please let me know. That's because our Haitian ancestors used these spiritual sciences to free themselves from white oppressors. (Look up the Haitian Revolution). And also note, the Haitian Revolution to this day, is the only one with a claim of being the world's only successful slave revolt.

So I've said all that to say this, the ultimate message behind the life of Martin Luther King jr., and having churches and liquor stores on every corner of Black neighborhoods is...WE WANT YOU TO BE INEBRIATED, SEMI-CONSCIOUS PACIFISTS, WHO DIE YOUNG AND VIOLENTLY. If you don't see this, again, you're just in denial. And again, don't take my word for it...do the research!

'til next time,

Ma'at Hotep (Peace and Justice)

P.S.
I'd be remiss if I didn't shout out the Gnostic/demi-Netjer LLO525STAR for introducing me to these bible verses and so much more info. I might have not found elsewhere! You can see his YouTube video that first introduced me to these verses and the aesthetic of white supremacist religious trick bags here.
